Money! Hi! Happy Friday! Hi!

SPEAKER_00

Hello!

SPEAKER_02

I am so excited that the weekend is finally here because it's been a week, man.

SPEAKER_00

It's been a week and my it's been a couple of weeks for me and the weekend, and I don't get any breaks. I don't know what I'm gonna do. It's just been busy couple of weeks, so hopefully we'll see.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And the but the weekend's busy too, so it's not like there's any breaks.

SPEAKER_00

It's like there's no breaks. That's what I mean. Like I don't have a break. The weekends are busy, the weekdays are busy. It's just a lot.

SPEAKER_02

Um, so uh can I tell you what I watched? I watched something really good.

SPEAKER_00

No, what did you watch?

SPEAKER_02

I watched. I watched two somethings really good. Actually, I rewatched one thing. The first something that I watched was really, really good. Dar Duck 2. I finally finally watched it.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you finished it. Okay, good, good, good.

SPEAKER_02

I never started it before, remember? I wanted to start it and then I fell asleep.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I thought I thought you started and then fell asleep and then just didn't do it. Okay. The intention was there for you. I guess. Intention was there, yes.

SPEAKER_02

So I watched it, um, you know, I went to Florida last weekend. I downloaded it on my iPad. Um you know how you cry at like sad romantic-y movies? I cry, not cry, but I get teary-eyed at sad movies with injustice. And this movie is just so much injustice, it made me mad. Like, just so it's about cast and all that, yeah. Like lowercast, uppercast. And it was just so demeaning to the to Siddhanta Chatravy's character. Like the it was just a very sad movie, but very good, and I think very real movie. Um, because I think some of this stuff still happens back in the motherland. Yeah, but and remember how I told you before also that I was not a very big fan of Pitripati, Dimori or Siddhanta as much as you were. Okay, these two are very good actors. After seeing this movie, amazing. Amazing. I've told you, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I know you have. I know you have. I've liked them both from the first movie, and it looks good. And you're you I don't only cry at teary-eyed at romantic movies, love movies. I get teary-eyed in everything. It could be a dog show, and I would get teary-eyed if it was like a sad scene that I find sad. So like so weird because it that's so different from your real personality that I see. But I think I get that a lot. But yeah, I get teary-eye. And even things that I've already seen, like it could be like an old show that I've already seen, and I'm re-watching it, and it's like a scene that made me tear up then. It'll make me tear up again. Like, it's not like I know I'm gonna tear up. It's just very, yeah, I do that all. I was watching something and I teared up, and I was like, if Kabita saw me right now, she'd be like, oh my god, she's crying again.

SPEAKER_02

Let me give you a box of tissues. So that uh too, I highly recommend. You do definitely be have to be in the mood to watch it. It's serious, but the love story part of it was very cute. Siddhanth and Tripti, I I like their acting. Um, I liked it.

SPEAKER_00

I liked the movie. Okay, yeah, I'm gonna again, I know I have to be in the mood for that. So I have not I've I I've seen it, I haven't put it, it's on my list. I'm gonna go watch it, but I you're right. You need to be in the mood to watch it, right? So it takes me a while to watch those type of movies, but I've heard great things about their acting.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Um the second thing that I kind of re-watched, I told you I wanted to go watch Cantora chapter one tomorrow. Yeah. Okay, so I re-watched um because I watched Cantra when it first came out, and I rewatch it's a Kanada film. Um and I re-watched the very last piece of this movie because the last piece of this movie, the acting, the acting is acting. Like it is amazing. Like, and I I'm not I don't watch Kanada movies very often, um, but obviously Contra everybody, it was like a big thing when it happened, right? When it came out or whatever, and now this Cantra 2 or Cantora the chapter one, whatever it's called, it's like at least on my feed, it's all over the place. Like Diljeet is singing a song for it for a Connada movie. So that last half hour, amazing. Like that acting and that oh my god, it was so good. So good. So I rewatched that that clip because I remember really enjoying it when I watched it the first time and then I watched it again. I was like, holy moly, it is so good. And that's what got me excited into going to wanting to go tomorrow to watch it. Um chapter one in the theater.

SPEAKER_00

Let me, I'm gonna put it on my list of movies to watch, Ganthara. I think you'll like it. So what did you watch? So I finished Do You Want a Partner? God, no, nobody wants to hear about this. So my feeling, original feeling of this show is still there. I don't think it's a I didn't enjoy it. Again, I really wanted to enjoy this movie. I did not. I had, and I said this before, I had no feelings for the characters, and even toward the end, I felt nothing for them. I did really, and I said before, like Diana Pente Penty, I like I liked her a lot. Like her character, um, or even like her acting was I don't think I've watched any movies of her that I really liked before, but I like her a lot.

SPEAKER_02

I think she was in Cocktail, wasn't she in Cocktail?

SPEAKER_00

She's in Cocktail, yeah, she's in Cocktail. I don't think I've ever actually fully watched Cocktail, so I don't remember. And Dippika's in it, so like to me, Dippika just told stole the show. So like I just watched her. Um but yeah, I think I think this is not a show for me. Um would I probably watch the next season if it comes out? Yeah, it'd probably be a background time pass for me, and I could hate watch it. I don't think it's a show for anybody personally, but um also I uh try to watch other shows, like other ones that like you know I've heard good reviews about. There's one show called the Glob, Gulob and Guns is Rajkumar Rao's in it. And and Dolkar Selman, he's so cute. I think I watched three episodes of it, and I just could not. Like, I don't know why. I just I was like, I can't watch this, and I just stopped watching it. Um so I tried it. That's interesting because that one too, that one got good reviews when it came out. And good reviews. It's still like it's still like has good ratings.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So I added that onto my list as well to watch, but now I think maybe I won't since you said.

SPEAKER_00

No, maybe again it's subjective, right? We all have like different feelings and shows and stuff like that. But like I wanted to really watch it because it seems like it's kind of like up my alley too. It's about like, you know, gangs, globs and gangs. Yeah, gulobs and gangs. I gave like three episodes and then that was it for me. I did watch something that was non-Dissy. It's called House of Guinness. It's on Netflix. And um, I enjoyed it. I thought the first episode was kind of a little slow, but once you get past that first episode, um, and everything else was like really fast. It like it kept me go uh going. I want to see what happens next. It's like a fictional story on uh trying to create like draft beer on like um the Guinness beer. It's about the Guinness family, right? Like in Ireland, it's not fully, it's not yeah, it's about in Ireland, but it's not fully about them. Like it's like it's like inspired by it because they don't want to say it's like truly about them because some things are changed around. But the actors are really good. The story I thought was really gripping for me, so I enjoyed it a lot. Um and it's it's eight episodes, and I went through it like in two days. So I enjoyed it a lot. So yeah, I would say like those type of things, watch it. It was I thought it was good. I thought I thought it was really good. So um that's where I ended. And then like recently I started watching um not watching, but like putting background, there's one old, old um Indian drama that I love is Pyarka Kyaan Abdu. It's an old drama. I don't they made it in so many different they've dubbed it in so many different languages. People have like really enjoyed it. So I'm re-watching that. Um, and I'll see if I can watch like maybe War 2, because it's on Netflix now, right now. So I probably watch War 2 and Deduck 2, maybe. Oh yeah, I saw that on Netflix. My sister watched it. She's like, this is awful. It doesn't look good. I feel really bad.

SPEAKER_02

So money, I see a Bollywood B. What's trending? What's buzzing in Bollywood?

SPEAKER_00

All right, Bollywood buzz. Um, so I don't know if you saw it, but it just dropped uh the Ed Sheron's new album called The Play. It's gonna be called Play, and it has remixes with a bunch of uh artists from India. We have Karan Azula, uh obviously Arjit Singh, Jonita Gandhi, and I just saw a clip of uh Karan Azula with our boys quick style dancing in the background, and the song to me, I'm already loving it. You know, I'm I'm I it's like it's a good combination of Ed and Karan, and then like the beats are really good. Um, so yeah, I'm liking that. Have you seen it?

SPEAKER_02

I um I saw the clip, but I didn't get to listen to the music because I think I saw it while I was doing something else and I couldn't put the music on. So I'll listen to it, but it's it's that's promising. Karan Agile and Ed Sheeran and Quickstyle. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I'm so in. Quickstyle is dancing in the background. It's like it's so cool. It looks good to me. I like it. And then he's also so on that I think that album also is gonna include Honey Munkind as well. Are you February 24th?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Well, I'm not going with uh the little kid group, I'm going with the old people group.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know, these people are in their 20s. I don't know why we call them little kids. Because we're in our not 20s.

SPEAKER_02

That's why they're little kids.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so um, yeah, I'm not going to his concert because I don't like him that much, but we'll see in February comes around. I it's just too far in advance for me to plan something out like that, someone that I don't like love that much. Um, but speaking of him, he did he was doing a song for the movie The Render, um, with the one with Renvier saying the song is in the trailer. Yes. So his song just dropped, and it's really, really good. Uh there's a new show that dropped, and I think I sent it to you. It's kind of up your alley because you love these type of things. It's called the Nana Murder Case, and it's based off a real life case of Murder? So in. I know. You love, you know, you love murder and death. Anything happy doesn't work for you. Um it's okay.

SPEAKER_02

But happy is just you.

SPEAKER_00

Uh Kungana Sen is in this and it's already out. It just dropped on Wednesday and it's on Hot Star, and people are just talking about how good she is. So I'm excited. I may watch it just because it's her, but I don't know. We'll see. You watch it first and then tell me if I should watch it or not.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna love it. It's speaking about murder crimey type of things, Daily Crime is also coming out next.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you were so excited about this.

SPEAKER_02

So excited.

SPEAKER_00

I think I saw the trailer. It looked good. So I haven't I've never watched the series, but you had seen it and you said it was really good. So and then the last thing that I just recently just saw was that I don't know how true this is that apparently because the failure of war two, Kiara is no longer supposed apparently isn't gonna be working with YRF anymore. She was supposed to be on in Doom 4, she's not doing Doom 4 anymore. But I don't know why the failure of War 2 falls on her shoulders because I don't think it was really her.

SPEAKER_02

I was gonna say, because didn't they wasn't there something about Ion Mukherjee, like, because he was the director. Why I'm sure I haven't seen War 2, or War 1 for that matter, but I don't know how I don't know how long Kiara is in the movie for it to make it her fault that this movie failed.

SPEAKER_00

I have not heard anyone talk about Kiara being the reason for the movie not being good. I have heard the storyline not being good. I've heard like other things about the movie not being good, but not Kiara. So the fact that they're like this thing is coming out, we're like, oh, because Kiara didn't do good in War II, she's not gonna be in Doom Doom 4. I don't think it has to do with that. Maybe you come up with some better storyline. And I think Doom 4, Ayan Mukherjee is supposed to be directing that too.

SPEAKER_02

That's what I was gonna say. I like I haven't heard anything good about Kiara and I haven't heard anything bad about Kiara, but I did hear something bad about Ayan Mukherjee. So why are you kicking Kiara out of Aiara? This makes no sense. Exactly.

SPEAKER_00

The film fair just happened.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah. Do you know how excited I used to be about film fairs and now I just don't care?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But you know what? I'm here.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't even know it was happening.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't even know it was happening. We could talk about who won what. I that's I guess let's do that.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Well, from uh for best film, it was Lap at the Ladies. Um that was directly.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't feel like that was so long ago.

SPEAKER_00

Me too, but it's coming up for this year.

SPEAKER_02

For like I think you're right, because I remember seeing like a I remember seeing Shah Rukhan whole like holding the that girl in the yellow dress, like the main lead, whatever. Yeah, it was her.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she was she was in it. And for Best Actor, there's two people that won, and um, the best actor award went to Karthik Aryan for Chandu Champion. Who watched that movie? And then and then Abhishek Butchan won the first one for um the movie called I Wanna Talk. Yeah, I don't know what this movie is.

SPEAKER_02

I I just started watching it on um on Amazon. It's good. He's good. And I always say he's good. I'm gonna stay by that. He's a good actor. So I think what it is with Abhishek Butchan is what like we've always said in the past, because he's under his mom and dad's shadow, and because he's wife, and because he's not like a Shah Khan type of charismatic person, witty, like he's witty and funny and stuff too, but there's something missing from him, but his acting is very good.

SPEAKER_00

I honestly think him debuting the same year as Rithik kind of messed him up. Killed it. Because there comes Rithik looking like a Greek god and dancing like this Michael Jackson type of he is, yeah. You know what I mean? He the guy, but you know what I mean? There's Rithik coming out, and then there's Abhishek. Even though I think Abhishek is a great actor, he's not a bad dancer, he's not Rithik style, but he's not bad. Um, and he's done pretty good movies. I've I've liked a lot a lot of his movies, so I'm glad that he got a win in the film fair. Yeah, I've been happy for him. But did you notice?

SPEAKER_02

Did you notice? Did you notice who was there and who was not there?

SPEAKER_00

That um Ashwarya and Aradia were not there.

SPEAKER_02

Where were they?

SPEAKER_00

No clue. Where were they? I don't know where they were.

SPEAKER_02

Where were y'all? We need to know where they were there.

SPEAKER_00

They weren't there, but Amitab was there, Jaya was there, his sister Shueta was there, his uh niece um Navya Nevali. Yeah, Navya Naveli was there. So they were all there, and but in his speech, he does think his wife and his daughter and you know says some nice things about them, but they weren't there. It's very strange. It's very strange, and um she don't know what was happening.

SPEAKER_02

Because she's been she's been getting back into all that stuff too, right?

SPEAKER_00

I know, but like also like I ne I never see like Aradi is always with Asharia, but like she's never just with Abhishek, right? Like she's never there with him. So like his award show, he actually won an award.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah, um the host, was it Sharu Khan? Was he a host?

SPEAKER_00

I feel like I saw Sharu Khan was a host, honey, and yeah, Sharuk Khan was a host, and the but the Sharu Khan and Gajal did like a comeback dance, like they did all their come of a couple of their songs. Yes, yeah, it was so good. Oh my god. So good. So I have to watch the whole performance, but um, there were some scenes that Gajel to me looked like she was awkward. You know, they didn't, I don't know, it didn't like their normal like thing, but it was looked a little awkward, but it was still really nice to like see them do their songs. They gotta do a movie together, something that's more age appropriate for them, and like I feel like it'll be good.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, there's gonna be stuff out there for them to do.

SPEAKER_00

They just I hope someone needs to come up with a good movie, like YRF, get a nice love story, story with Sharik and Kajal do something. I don't know, something good like that. Um, Best Actress, which is the most controversial one, is that Alia butt won for Jigra. Do you even remember Jigra? Yeah, because I tried to watch it and it was so bad.

SPEAKER_02

That's all I remember of it, that it was so bad.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't hear anything great about this movie. I didn't hear anything great about her acting about this movie. People just like ripped it apart and said it was not good. So the fact that she won for Jigra, it's kind of like, you know, a lot of people are coming out and saying that like she's not a bad actress. We all know she's a good actress, but for her to win for a movie that she didn't do good when she was like nominated against like some other actresses, um, Nakarina in Crew, Tabu and Crew, uh Yami Gotham in Arlik Yami Gotham in Article 370, um Kriti in uh Teri Batome. I mean, I didn't see those movies. I saw Crew, I really love Crew, like Crew with those was a great movie.

SPEAKER_02

I would have picked Yami. I haven't seen um Article 370, but I've heard the movie was really good. And I like her. I really like her.

SPEAKER_00

I like I like Yami a lot. I I think she is a great actress. I I feel like she's very pretty and everything I've ever seen of her. Under everything I've ever seen of her, it's always been really good. Like I don't know anything that I was like, I've seen like going on a good movie, so she's great. So yeah, so everyone's coming out and being like, because now she's known as the actress with the most best actress award.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I wonder if she had any help.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, from Green Hunter, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Um what other any other bigger big nominations we need to know about?

SPEAKER_00

Best debut. Oh, who? Luxh? Best yes for yeah, he learned for kill.

SPEAKER_02

Yay! What about best villain? Was that Rabov?

SPEAKER_00

Let me see. Best, no, there's no, I don't see best villain. Oh, there's no I didn't see best villain.

SPEAKER_02

I thought they used to. Because remember Kajil when it was. They used to.

SPEAKER_00

They don't they don't do it anymore, I think. They're not here.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I'm so happy for Lux. Yay!

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, Lux, Lux.

SPEAKER_02

You got one thing right.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

You know, back in the day, there was some of our favorite actresses and actors that kind of went missing for a while, and now they're back in the spotlight. Mothery, Sri Devi, you remember those guys? You miss those guys. So I I mean, I was hoping that we could talk about their latest movies that they've come back in, or movies, series, whatever they've come back in, and our thoughts.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think, yeah, I I they've taken like small hiatuses, right? Like short little breaks and things like that. I think I think Sri Devi was a big, big like note break, right, for her because she was gone for like a long time, right? Because her scandal broke out during uh right after the movie Judai happened uh with her and Bonnie Kapoor's affair. And I think after that, she Prego. Yeah, she got pregnant with Jami and then she disappeared and she was gone for so long, and then she came out with English V English. Yeah, English Venglish, yeah. And that was a long time. After a long time, she came out with that.

SPEAKER_02

But also, like, I feel like around that Sri Devi time was the time of like, remember like like uh Neethusing, they they would get married and then they would disappear disappear and you'd never see them again, basically, right? I think that was how it was, yeah, in the industry. Yeah, and I think this timeline of like Sri Devi, Madhuri, like or that timeline around that time, they kind of disappeared for a little bit. But now, like, now that it's okay to make a comeback per se when you're an older actress, if they're not just singing and dancing around a tree or whatever, you know what I mean? There's a MIDI script, a good role, and um a good storyline. I think that's why they're coming back. But that because also Bollywood has evolved to bring them back.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly. And and I think um peop a lot of the women who are having children are not like stepping away from work. Like, no, we're still gonna work. Yeah. But that's now.

SPEAKER_02

But I think that's that's now. But the Sri Devi Madhuri, they they still took a break, real like raised their kids, and then they came back after their life.

SPEAKER_00

Madhari took a Madhri Madhuri took a five-year break. She didn't take a big break. She took a five break. Was it only five years? Yeah, she was only five years because she did.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, that's good.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she did. But I think Sri Devi took the I think for me, Sri Devi took like the longest break. And then I would say like Karishma took another long break too. But um, but yeah, Sri Devi's movie English for English. I remember when it came, when it came out, I was like, oh my gosh, Sri Devi's back. Let's watch her movie. And it was a fun movie to watch. I thought it was it was good. And then I think she did right after that, she did Mom, was it? Was it Mom or Ma? I forget what the name of that movie is. Mom. Mom, yeah. Mom. And uh Yeah, it's sad because right after mom, I think she had a couple more movies lined up to do, and then she passed away, and which we covered in our another scandals episode where we talked about her path and what we feel about it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, well, she was I think she was supposed to be in Kalunk. Um, I heard rumors of her possibly being in the Bahu Belly series, but unfortunately, she passed away and we didn't get to see her in those movies. But I love Street Avi. She is one of my most famous.

SPEAKER_00

We know. We know.

SPEAKER_02

So good. So another favorite, your favorite, the dancing queen Madre Dixit, she came back with, I think Aja Nachle was one was her comeback.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, her movie, her like big, like her. I think she took a break after, I want to say after Dev Dash, she took a break. Um, and then she was gone. Well, Dave Das was her last movie before she got married. So Dave Das was her last movie before she went went away and like, you know, raised her children. She was gone for five years. She came back with Aja Nachle. And then after that, she's done a couple other movies after that too. She's been like, uh, she paid um special appearances in different movies. She's done um for Netflix movies as well.

SPEAKER_02

Um, she's done Well, she was in that fame, fame game, and then she does like a lot of judging, I think, on dance shows and stuff like that. So she also did a movie called Majama. I didn't see that one. That was on the show. Oh, the song. There's a really good song in there. Well, I the thing is, I think like, because she moved to the United States, right, for a little bit, and then I think she missed Bollywood and Bombay and her life back in India so much that she moved her whole family back to India. So I know.

SPEAKER_00

Her husband is everywhere with her too now.

SPEAKER_02

Like it's like at least on Instagram all the time. Oh, I don't follow him. You follow Mr. Nene. Oh, yeah. Uh Dr. Nene, of course. I'm sorry. Dr. Nene, I do follow Dr.

SPEAKER_10

Nene. I didn't do it.

SPEAKER_00

Well, another person that took a high not high eye, but took a couple of breaks, I think. I want to say it was Kajel. Kajul took a break between 2001 and 2006. Um, I think her last movie in 2001 was uh was K3G, and then she didn't do a movie for a while, and then she came back with the movie Fana. I don't think in 2006 they did fun. She did Fana, but I wasn't like, I'm not, I wasn't a big fan, and I didn't think it was that great for me. So I I agree. I didn't like that. The songs were good. I liked that Chan Safara song a lot.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Yes. I did like that song at all.

SPEAKER_00

Um it's not a good it wasn't a good movie after K3G. I have to say that. Um and then after that, she went took another like short break from 2010 until um 2015, where she came back and did the movie Dil Wallet, which again I feel like was another one of your favorites. Another one that I did not like at all. And we've talked about how much I hated that movie. Um so yeah, so Kajel, Kajel also, um, but I feel like Kajel's still like she's trying to do movies that like more portraying to like her age group. She did a new movie called uh Sada Zamine, and um it was on Netflix. Ibrahim Ali Khan's in it too.

SPEAKER_02

Um but I Oh yeah, I wanted to see that because I didn't get good reviews at all.

SPEAKER_00

So I don't know. But I mean she is doing her new talk show with she's trying to do that, she's trying to do that type of stuff. So we'll see. We'll see where she goes with what what else she comes up with.

SPEAKER_02

Morning, Spritey. Such a lovely day. Now, I'm running late for work. I was wondering if you could take a net to school.

SPEAKER_10

Judy, Judy, so what are your thoughts on Acehray Rai?

SPEAKER_02

Do you think she had a comeback?

SPEAKER_00

So I don't think she had a good comeback. She was gone for a bit, right? Because she did, I think the last movie she did was Gazarish. Um God terrible, boring. Yeah. We both were like, she last movie she did was Gazarish, and then I think she had um Aradia, and then um she was gone for like five years, and she came back with the movie Juzba, which I wanted to give it a chance, and it wasn't good. And I felt yeah, I you know, it wasn't good. Uh the I don't think the movie was good, the songs weren't good. But then she did um another movie called Sarjit, I think is like um I saw that.

SPEAKER_02

I liked it. It was with it was with Randi Pura, and she was like um the sister, right? She was the sister of like uh her uh her brother got unfairly imprisoned, basically, and it was it was very good. She did great. She did great. That movie was good, but it's again, it's a very serious movie.

SPEAKER_00

It's not like a so I feel like that movie or Edel Hemushkil should have been her comeback movie as opposed to Jezbah, because I didn't like her and like I thought Jezba just was really weak. I don't think she I think she should have done something more like I thought Edel Hemushkil she looked great, she looked good in it, her role was really good. It was very different from what she usually does. So like I thought that movie should have been her comeback.

SPEAKER_02

You know what? Let's let's do that. Let's I train around your comeback with Edel Hemushkil, not those other ones. Not the not Jezbah for sake. Yeah. But you know what? She has she has made her comeback in modeling, though. I feel like she's like all at the all of these big fashion shows nowadays.

SPEAKER_00

She is in a lot of those, and I think they they've said that she has some kind of a health problem. There's a little bit of rumors about her and Abishek splitting and things like that.

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, okay, so anyway, I swear I your new comeback film is Edel Hemoshke. We're gonna forget the other ones. We're gonna forget the other ones that you the other one that you did.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, after she got married to the Kapoor, Kapoor, Sanjay Kapur, and then she had her kids, but she was gone, and then she tried to make a comeback with this movie called Dangerous Ish, and it was not good. It was not very dangerous. I want to say that was her last movie that she did, and I don't think she did anything else after that. Maybe she did like one other one after that. Um but she did um Murder Mubarak. It's on Netflix. Okay, it's on Netflix, but it's it's not like a big movie on theater screen, it was just a Netflix movie. I think it was just a Netflix um release.

SPEAKER_02

But again, that's fine, but like it wasn't good either.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, I didn't see that one, so I have no idea.

SPEAKER_02

So But she's she's like she she again makes appearances on like some shows. Like I she was on Dance India Dance. She was like, Yeah, she does a lot of those judging and things like that. And that sort of stuff.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and now she does, and she's always in pictures with Saef and Karina, like wherever they go.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, she's the she's the third wheel. She's always cool.

SPEAKER_00

Every picture is like them two together. Yeah, like it's them three. It's always like, all right.

SPEAKER_02

So um, you know, there's some uh we talked about a ton of actresses that made comebacks. What about some of the guys? Uh my favorite, I'm gonna bring it up right now, Bobby Diol. Like he has been killing it in everything that he's been doing. Yep, since well, I saw his very first one. I I think it's his first comeback, the um the Ashram, but I think what really blew him up was Animal because Lord Bobby after Animal came out.

SPEAKER_00

I think, yeah, Lord Bobby after Animal came out. But he I think he was gone for a little bit. He I think the last movie was Yamla Pagla Dewana 2, apparently. I don't know, there's a one with the all the deal family. Yep, yep. And um he did that, and then he was gone for about four years. He came back with poster boys, which wasn't that good either. And then he came into race three as the villain with Salman Khan, was in that one.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I didn't watch race three because everybody said it's so bad.

SPEAKER_00

It is bad, so don't watch it. Um so but then he's been doing continuous continuously doing movies since 2018, but like nothing has hit. But like, and like you said, Animal, where he was a villain, that hit really well, and people have just Like he has blown up since I'm not blown up, but like he's been back in the you know the spotlight. Like, hey, there's uh there is Bobby, like remember Bobby, and now with now being the dad in Bads of Bollywood, I think like that's how's to take him to another level. Everyone's just talking about how good he looks, how great it is to see him again.

SPEAKER_02

He's doing a lot of um South Indian villain roles too, from what I read. He's doing that movie you talked about.

SPEAKER_00

We talked about Bundar that's supposed to come out.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that's not a South Indian movie, but that's not but he's but he's gonna be in Bandat.

SPEAKER_00

But he's gonna be in a couple movies.

SPEAKER_02

Like it looks like he's there's gonna be a lot coming out for him, and I think I'm actually very happy for him. Because I did like him back in his day. Like Hamraz and um uh blah blah blah. What's that? Barsath, right? His very first movie. I liked those movies. He did two bars. Two barshats. I've told you. Two barsats. So his I'm talking about his twinkle kind of barsath. Not his Bible Barsath. Yeah. No.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But I liked Bobby Theol, and I'm I'm actually very happy for him that you know he's found his you know, second wind, I guess.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you're right. That is I liked him in Jumbar Bar Jum. I think that that's a dumb movie. Oh yeah. Jumbar Bar Jum. Yeah, people don't like that movie, but I think it was fun. Fun to watch. Yeah. He's weird. Even Soldier. Actually, he has a good, he has a lot of good movies. I don't know what Soldier. Soldier was a fun movie too. That was pretty Zinta. Um, and he's then he's in the he has like a lot of movies actually, so yeah. Yeah. Another um another male actor that was gone for a little bit uh was Aksha Kana was also gone. He came in, did a lot of movies, did a whole bunch of movies, and then he just like disappeared uh for a bit in twelve. I think the last movie was in 2012. I don't even know what this movie is. Gali Gali Jorhe. I have no idea. Gali Gali Chorhe. Yeah, well, that's why he disappeared. Yeah, he disappeared. He was gone. He was gone for four years, he had to like reinvent himself, came back without hair, I think.

SPEAKER_02

I think that's what maybe that's what it was.

SPEAKER_00

He came and then he hair somewhere and he did this him in 2020 2016, and then after that, he's been in like he's played like smaller like roles, not the main lead, he's playing smaller roles. Um he was in Ajahnatchlate with um Madhuri. He played a small cop role there. Yeah. I liked him. I liked him in that. Like I liked him.

SPEAKER_02

Wasn't he all he was also in mom, right? Was she there? He was also the detective.

SPEAKER_00

He's in mom or policeman. Yep, he is. He's in mom, he's in the fac, he's in section 375. I don't know if you saw that one.

SPEAKER_02

No, but um in our episode with Mason, he was referring back to that one because it it she said it it was very close to the whole shiny Ahuja case.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly. So that, yeah, so he was in that. Um and he's done like other one. He uh he got great reviews for playing uh Arung Zeb in Java.

SPEAKER_02

So good. I went to the theater and I watched that and I could not recognize that that was Akshay Kanna. Yeah. Like not aside from the makeup, even just how mean he was, like it was so good. Yeah. Very good.

SPEAKER_00

So he so he I again I like him as an actor. I just don't think he's like meant to be like the flashy superstar, like, you know, like he's not meant to be that. I think the roles that he's playing, the ones that he's picking, it works really well for him. I like it. Very well, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And I don't think he cares. Honestly, I really don't think he cares. I think he just wants to do good, happy, fun work. Not happy, but good work, right? And I, you know, like because even like if you think back to Dil Chatahe, he was in a film with three actors, and he still held his own, and he was great. He was so good.

SPEAKER_00

Each of those, we talk about Dil Chataha a lot, but each of those actors and each of the characters are individually so different. They no one takes away and no one's taking away from the other. Like, you remember American being really good, you remember Saif being really good, and you remember Akshakanda being really good. Like everyone was really good in that movie. So yeah, Akshakanda is a good actor.

SPEAKER_02

So another favorite of mine, maybe kind of sort of. Maybe kind of sort of, Mr. Fardine Khan. Like he's not like a super favorite, like Tiger Shraff, but he. I mean, I like the way he looked in Hero Mundi. Let's just put it in the back. And that's it.

SPEAKER_00

I think that's all it is that you like about him. Yeah. The way he looked in Hero Monday, because he cannot act. He is He looks so good though. I don't know why, but he's not a good actor. But I didn't see Hero Mundy, so I'm not sure how he was. I saw clips of it. I don't think he looked that good. Whatever. Float your book. He looked good. Whatever float your book.

SPEAKER_02

But he's I haven't seen him in anything else um since then. So I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Because he's not a good actor, and I'm glad that he's not trying to do anything else.

SPEAKER_02

Well, that's what I was saying. Like maybe he maybe this is not maybe he should not be included in this comeback list because he came back and then he left again.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, may maybe he's in the works of doing some movies.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Who knows? But like maybe you should be maybe you should play a villain. Like every I feel like everyone who didn't make it as a hero should just go play a villain role and see how that works out for them. Because it might work out, you know?

SPEAKER_02

Like he was kind of a villain in Hero Mundy. Oh, was he? But not like not a main, like, well, not a main villain, but he was kind of mean and villainy.

SPEAKER_00

It's it's so sad that even when I Google Fredin Khan film gra films, I don't, you know, Wikipedia has a separate entire section for everyone else. Fredin Khan doesn't have a separate section, it's just his Wikipedia page. Well, he didn't do very many films though.

SPEAKER_02

He tried. That was probably his best movie. And that was because of Urmila. Why do you even know this movie so well? Because the movie was about a stalker and it was real, she was really good.

SPEAKER_00

Umila, right? Urmila was really good. Yeah. An underrated actress. She should have won many awards, um, but she did not.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

He's uh he was in House. Oh sorry, he was in Househole 5 after Hero Mundi. He's in Househole 5.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, again, nobody cares about that movie.

SPEAKER_00

So he did Hero Mundi, then he came back with Kiel Kilmet, and he was also in Household 5. He's supposed to do another movie, the Carnegie movie, and it's called Tavo. I don't know. Oh, really? Yeah, maybe he is playing. Maybe he did take our advice as playing the villain role. I maybe, because of course everybody who listens to our podcast takes our advice. Yeah, of course. Everyone in Bollywood is listening to us. I mean, we're that popular. Um, another one I want to bring up is Amitabh. For me, I remember when Amitabh did Hodagawa and it was like iconic that that was gonna be his last movie, he's leaving after that. He's not gonna come back in industry. Like he made like this big. I remember being Oh, he made a statement. I remember it being a big deal that Amitabh is not gonna do movies anymore. And I think what happened was that they were he was gone for a little bit, but they like lost a lot of money because he had a production company. We talked about it during your breakdown of him. Yeah. Maybe something yeah, and that because that went down, he needed to make money, so he had to like go back into acting. So his movie after his little hiatus was uh Mechu Data that came out, and I remember it wasn't that good. So but after that, I think he did he was able to do Mahabati uh with a Yashraj is a Yashraj movie, so he played side character, like he played the father and that father, and then he got like best supporting actor and in that in that movie and stuff like that. So I think after that he's been playing dad roles or and and then he did like Gon Hikka or Pati. So he's like in the spotlight somehow all the time.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like I mean Kabikushi, Kabi Gun. Yeah, like the those were kind of like he's still he's still very relevant.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he's still very relevant. So I think his comeback movie wasn't the greatest, but he's still in the industry, still doing like movies and stuff like that. So um yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And he does a lot of voiceovers if you've noticed the voiceovers, but like in the beginning of films, like he did it for I keep bringing up Bahubali, but he did it for the Bah Bahubali, the Hindi version. I think it's his voice that overlays on.

SPEAKER_00

He did a lot of because he has that, he has that voice of a narrator, very good voice. Yeah, like a very good uh voice that he can like. He has a good podcast voice. He does have a good podcast. I think, yeah, he does. Because that's why he was like the the st uh the host of so long, right? Uh because of that, because he has that voice for that for it.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you.

SPEAKER_00

Well, based off of what we talked about, the hiatuses and the little comebacks, who do you think had the best one, though? Like out of all the ones that we talked about, who do you think had the best comeback? Sri Devi with English V English.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I'm not saying that I'm not saying it because just she's my favorite, but in terms of like You're not biased at all. No, no, I'm just but even like if you think about Madri, Aja Natchle, Aishware Rai, Jazbah, like English V English was actually a very good movie too.

SPEAKER_00

So for me, English Venice is the same level as Aja Natchle. For me, personally, it was the same level. I feel like they could have both done better comeback movies, coming back and coming back, they could have done better. But what they did was good, like good enough for me. Jezba was not. Like, I did not like whatever Jesbah was. I don't know what Jesba was. Like, I didn't like it. Like, uh Ashraya definitely should have just done Edith Mushkel as her comeback movie. Like you said, oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Sorry, that's her, that's that's her comeback movie.

SPEAKER_00

Let's just rewrite, let's rewrite Wikipedia and everything else. Like her comeback was Aja Mushkel. But like, who do you think you would enjoy watching Tushar Kapoor coming back?

SPEAKER_02

That's you can't even ask that quite that's not fair. We were didn't even talk about the guy. Poor guy. Why are you always gonna bring Tushar Kapoor into this man? Because I'm so happy. I'm so happy he's not back. He is happy. He is on, he's doing playing with his dogs and his kids. Let him chill and just Wait, what? Yeah, you know all this about him? Well, yeah, I know he has kids. Like he adopted kids or something. Oh, did he? Is he married? No, he just adopted kids, I think, on his own. That's I know that's commendable. He's married, he's married. I don't think so. I'm elegant. Yeah, he's not married. Kabam! He's an unmarried single father who had a son, Laksh Kapoor, through surrogacy via intro uh via his kid, though.

SPEAKER_00

It's not about adoption, it's actually his actual. It's actually his kid, sorry. So uh I said that. Anyone else that you feel like needs a comeback?

SPEAKER_02

That disappeared needs a comeback that that I want to see again on screen?

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that's a good question, Money. Um I don't think so. I can't think of anybody right now. You have anybody? Maybe they'll still be able to do that.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think people have left. I don't think people have left the industry for them to do a comeback. Um, I would like a good movie for Anushka Sherma to come back in. I don't think she's done anything. I don't think she wants to come back. She's happy in London. I think so too. I think she would be someone, but like whoever has left has left for good reason, and I'm glad that they left. So I don't need them to come back. But some people need to leave and haven't left. So I wish they would go and or do movies that are like more young, yes, please. Like, don't do comeback. Just go back. Or don't even come out. Just go, just go back. Shania Kapoor, why are you here? Why are you out?

SPEAKER_02

Like Shana never started.

SPEAKER_00

Never started, ma'am. Please, please just go away.

SPEAKER_02

Alright, so money you and I didn't couldn't think of as somebody that we wanted to come back. But um, you know, those of you, those of you listening, if you have anybody, like let us know on our Instagram handle and you know, we'll feature you maybe.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe. Let us know which ones are you. Like if you have anyone that you like.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, money. Blindy windy time. A female superstar won the best actors trophy for a movie which sank without a trace at a recently concluded movie awards event. Her performance was in no way award worthy. As per a source, another nominee was very upset when the female superstar got the award, and she was heartbroken. The superstar's mentor, a studio boss, has history using the using his clout to rig the awards. Ooh, so they're rigged, you guys. No, like we didn't know that already. The credibility of the awards is down the toilet. Can you guess?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, we've we've already talked about this. It is Algae butt for best actress for the movie Jigra, and Jigra got such bad reviews, not only on the movie, but like just. I tried to watch this. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

I tried to watch this, and I could not.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I haven't heard one good review about that movie at all. So the fact that she won it is it is shocking. Everyone, like we talked about this, right? Everyone, no one's happy about it.

SPEAKER_02

So it could have been Yami Gautam, because I think she was nominated for Article 370, which I haven't seen, but apparently it's got good reviews. Or Kriti Sanin, and she was I forgot what movie we said she was nominated for.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that was stupid too. The story was stupid, but I think she did a good job playing the character that she was trying to play. I think that's what it is.

SPEAKER_02

Out of the two, because I Alia butt should not have won. I agree. I I didn't even see the movie, but I don't think she should have won. Out of the two Yami Gotham and Krithi, like I haven't seen 370, and I I saw clips of the other movie, the robot movie. But though they said heartbroken, I think Yami Gotham would have been heartbroken because like you know, like I don't know. Like I feel like for some people these awards actually mean something, and not for the ones that just keep winning them and because you know they have a friend that pulls the strings.

SPEAKER_00

I'm I'm an Alia fan, but she shouldn't get an award for something that she didn't do that good in, right? Like I can't Yeah, undeserving. Undeserving. I don't think Jagra should have won. Yami Gotham, I think out of all of the lists, uh from I think she should have she should have been the winner. I agree. I think so.

SPEAKER_02

I have one more blind for you. Yeah. This one we kind of talked about already. This actress was once a darling of studio bosses. She was confirmed for several big budget projects starting big superstars, but one big budget flopped, and she's been replaced in at least two other major projects. She may lose some more. As per a source, this has led to increased anxiety and paranoia. Her team is pushing to close some big ticket projects soon. Sadly, her role in her last movie was barely 15 minutes long. She is the worst hit among all the celebrs who starred in that movie. You just told me about it, Moni. I was gonna say is it Kiara? Really? Kiara? Yeah. She's I like Kiara. It could be, it could be. They're saying the comments are saying also Deepika, but I don't think Deepika was affected as much. Like, yes, she's been out of like some of the South Indian movies, but she's doing king with Shah Ru Khan.

SPEAKER_00

Like, I I don't think it's Deepika. I think if anything, it's probably it's Kiara, but like I don't understand why.

SPEAKER_02

She was barely in it for 15 minutes, so why are you blaming her for her 15 minutes? She wore the bikini.

SPEAKER_00

She wore the bikini that you wanted her to. I don't I don't understand. I don't know. I like her. I like Kiara. Everything I everything I've ever seen of Kiara I've enjoyed watching.

SPEAKER_02

I kind of have no opinion of Kiara, meaning it's not good or it's not bad. It's just I haven't watched enough movies of her to to have an opinion of her. But I feel bad for her if they're you know making her the scapegoat out of this whole thing. Me too.

SPEAKER_00

I don't understand.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Please, people. Not cool, y'all. Not cool, Bollywood. Yeah. Like give her some of the John V movies. Like, why is John V still doing movies? Anyway, thank you for the blinds.

SPEAKER_02

You're welcome. They were actually better than the last few weeks at least.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but they're not like juicy, juicy.

SPEAKER_02

Come on, they were juicy, but they weren't juicy, juicy. They were juicy, but they were not juicy juicy because you knew the answers. Okay, money. It is vow time. What are the polls saying this week?

SPEAKER_00

Well, for the polls, we have Surma my Diljeet. Have you heard it?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I like that song. It's fun. It's a fun song.

SPEAKER_00

And I love Diljeet, obviously. You know that. I think I think a lot of times we like his song because it's Diljeet more than anything else.

SPEAKER_02

No, there's some, like, I don't like that Peaches song of his. I think it's so stupid.

SPEAKER_00

I don't remember that one.

SPEAKER_02

I love Peaches. I like you. It's so stupid.

SPEAKER_00

That sounds dumb. That does sound dumb. Yeah, it's dumb. I mean, his new album dropped too, so like he has to, I'm sure there's like really good songs that are gonna come up. What's yours? What's your vibe this week?

SPEAKER_02

So, my vow, I told you I saw I kind of rewatched Canthara, but um Canthara 2 or Chapter 1 Canthara, whatever they're calling it. Uh, there is this one song that's been trending, and it's um it's a classical Carnatic style song, a little bit more on the religious side, but I really like it, and I'll tell you why. Okay. It's called Brahmhakalasha, it's a Kanara song. Okay. They did do it in all of the major languages um in India, like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Karnada, Malayalam. But the reason why I really, really like it is there's this guy who I used to follow on TikTok. His name is Abby V. Okay. He's the singer of this song. They found him on TikTok, and he is so good. He's a young boy. Okay, okay, okay. So good. And I think that's why I like it even more because I heard the song, I was like, I know this voice. And then I then I saw it was him, and I was like, oh my gosh. Like, I'm so again, just like Ariane Khan, I'm proud of him too. You're proud of this guy. Proud of this guy, I don't even know. But he's like a young boy, and it's a great song. So it's from Cantra, the chapter Cantra chapter one, and it's it's great as well. Okay, cool. I'll just take a listen to it, see how it sounds.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, so you know how much I love Jasmine Sandales. Sandalaus, yes. Um, her new song called Pulse, P-O-L-S. Um, I think it's a really fun song, great beats to it. So that's what I'm listening to right now. But a lot of really great songs have come out, so like it's hard to pick like what I'm vibing to because there's multiple songs. But I just But that's the thing.

SPEAKER_02

I feel like there's a hiatus of like no songs for a little bit. Because remember, we were like, okay, what's our vows?

SPEAKER_00

What's our vows? Look for it. Yeah. Yeah. But this week.

SPEAKER_02

But now it's like there's so many. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

There's so many. So I'm liking I'm liking polls. Good.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Well, thank you for listening.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, like, share, follow. See you guys next week. Bye.

SPEAKER_05

Pan Jabajan Uri Vegeta.

SPEAKER_00

You didn't watch it at all? How do we have a whole episode on it and you didn't watch it? I went along with you guys. It's like how you didn't watch Bog Bon. I just went along with you guys. Okay, okay, okay. Yeah. I never watched it. Oh, yeah. Obviously. I even know why he's your boy because you don't watch any of his movies.

SPEAKER_02

Because I f just like Janae and the Khan, I just feel bad for them. So I I feel like they should have somebody as their fan. And I will step up and do that, do them that favor.

SPEAKER_00

But you've watched Janet support. I don't know why. I'm very confused here. Alright. I haven't heard one person out there with this clip talk that oh, the movie's bad at this cara is really bad at it. I've heard the movie is bad.

SPEAKER_02

He was not barking this whole time until I logged in.

SPEAKER_00

Another big trip when we finish you doing your hair. No, go ahead. I want to use some of the later. I was like, I just want to use some of the code.

SPEAKER_02

I can't even do it. It was so good. I didn't know what you were doing.

SPEAKER_00

I was like, what are you what are you doing? Like pulling out PTS though.

SPEAKER_02

Like, oh no.

SPEAKER_00

I hear something.

SPEAKER_02

Like the song? I haven't I mean my phone is a little bit more.

SPEAKER_00

So weird. Okay, it's fine.

SPEAKER_02

I don't want to hear anything. Okay, you're hearing people in your head. I am hearing people in your head.

SPEAKER_00

Second thing. Um
