Money, do you know what day tomorrow is?
Speaker 6Oh my god, it's finally here. I know. After months and months of practice and putting this together. Yeah. What are you talking about?
Speaker 5Sharikhan's birthday. My bad. What are you talking about? I'm talking about show tomorrow. Oh, that's tomorrow too! Tomorrow. Okay, okay. Two exciting things are happening tomorrow. Yes. We have a troop show, which is one of the I think this is the first time we've ever done a troop show.
Speaker 6Official troop show ever. For Rhythmaia. For Rhythmaia, yes.
Speaker 5Very excited because it's sold out.
Speaker 6Um it's gonna be great. It's gonna be great. So we have really cool sections, it's gonna be a lot of fun. So much has gone into it.
Speaker 5So we're very the pieces look amazing, I have to say. Now the second exciting thing.
Speaker 6Yes, tell us what the second exciting thing is.
Speaker 5Shah Rukhan's 60th birthday.
Speaker 6Oh, he's turning 60? Yes. Whoa. Is he not having a party? We're not how come we're not invited. We're invited, we just can't go. Yeah, India. I just it was done on my calendar. Like I have the show tomorrow.
Speaker 5So apparently, um some cities, I don't know if this is in America. I definitely know it's in India. They're re-releasing some of his movies. Yes. And I want to see Kabikushi Kabigum or uh Kuch Kuch Watahe, one of those iconic movies on screen again, and I don't know if it's here. I'm looking at it. I don't think so.
Speaker 6I sent it to my best friend who is also a huge Sharuk Khan fan like yourself. I feel like you guys need to get together and talk about your love for Sharuk Khan. Yeah. Um, I told I sent it to you. She's like, yeah, but it's not showing anywhere in the US. She was like, I would I would absolutely go with it.
Speaker 5Because you know what? It's so funny. Like Nirati sent me a text with uh and she's like, Coven and Natya really want to go. We need to find something. And I looked and I looked and I could not find something, but I don't know. Maybe something will come up. Maybe a crazy fan will like like me.
Speaker 6I mean, you what you can do is just get all the movies and just watch it yourself on TV.
Speaker 5It's not the same.
Speaker 6Like you need all the like I would love to go watch DDLJ again. Yes. I would love to watch KD. Actually, any movie he's done with Kajul, I would love to go watch again. Except Dilwali. Except for Dilwali. Maybe I would watch Dilwale just his parts with her. Okay, so like I'm just not. Yeah, but I'm like, excuse me, sorry, can you forward everything with Varun in it, please? Just go forward all that, please.
Speaker 5No, but like you need the theater experience because you need the music and you the bass and all that kind of stuff. And then theater popcorn. You have to have theater popcorn.
Speaker 6I know. I theater pop that's a must. I don't care if I have dinner beforehand. I have when I go back to when I go inside, I need popcorn. Yes. And I will eat that popcorn. It might be done before the movie even starts. Because the trailer is.
Speaker 5It doesn't feel the same without that popcorn.
Speaker 6Of course so.
Speaker 5But yes, we're very excited, Sharokhan. Happy, happy, happy birthday.
Speaker 6Yes, Mr. Happy Birthday. I'm glad you're 60 and have given us amazing movies to watch. And we want more. And we want more. Give us more. Actually, good ones, please. Not this crap that sometimes you put out. Just give us more.
Speaker 9Yeah. Okay. One thing that we uh Aryan tried to do with Abram was to find out. Papa doesn't know who you are. So I said B does so much to you. Papa does he know what you do. So we were sitting on a dining table and we forced him to answer. And the question went something like this that uh uh Abram, why do people so many people? So many people like Papa. So what does Papa Papa do? Papa choose. So he said, uh he's an actor. Then he says, uh No, what does Papa work as? Shooting. So do what answer Adi. Then he says, uh, when so many people come, why do people come to see Papa? Because Papa is so obviously Arnold expected him to see a star or a big star or whatever. So he says because Papa's handsome.
Speaker 5So Mundi, did you watch anything fun over the weekend or over the week?
Speaker 6Okay, so I don't know if it's what if you would consider it fun, but I personally watched Param Sundari. It's on Netflix now. I heard it's an easy okay watch. It's an easy okay watch. It's the movie with um John V and uh Siddharth. Yeah. And you know, I like Siddharth because I think he's good looking and he is really good looking. Yeah. Um, and I thought, okay, so the movie for me, very easy, nothing extra, simple, fun rom-com movie to watch. The story to the story I felt like was really well done. The songs are really pretty, and then they did the scenery of Kerala, I think it's that area.
Speaker 5Yeah.
Speaker 6So beautiful. Like every scene, every look was like really nice. And there's something about it, like I I really liked it.
Speaker 5So I I watched two they see things. Yeah. So I watched this telegraph movie called Bucinayu Kandriga. It was um, it was released in 2020, and that's that's why I feel like I kind of missed it for some reason. Like I didn't see any promos. It's a very nice movie, but it's very similar to Thatuk 2 with the whole cast thing and rich boy or sorry, rich girl, poor boy type of thing. Very village-y. This is more village-y, whereas Daruk 2 was more city-ish or whatever.
Speaker 6Okay, okay.
Speaker 5I l I really liked it. This one had a had a happier ending though, um, compared to Daruk 2, but it was nice. It was really, really nice. And then I re-watched. Well, I started watching uh uh Parierum Perumal, which is the Thummel version of Daruk 2. It's it's what they remade, right? Like Darduck 2 was the remake of Parierum Perumal, yeah.
Speaker 6Is that what sorry, what language? Thummel.
Speaker 5Thummel. Okay. So I was watching and I was like, oh, like now that I watched Daruch 2, let me watch what they you know, the original. Yeah. And I was watching, I was like, oh, I've seen this movie before. I just forgot. Did you forget that you already saw it? I forgot I already saw it, because I forgot the name of the original movie.
Speaker 6You had seen the you see you saw the remake of it, Darek 2. Yeah. And you had already seen the original movie from before. A long time ago before.
Speaker 5So then when I re when I rewatched the the original, I was like, oh wait, I've seen this movie before. But I kept watching it because it was really good. Yeah. It was really, really good. Yeah. Um, and then I watched a non-Bollywood thing. Well, okay, yes, yes. Please tell us. Please tell the listeners the things that you watch. It's called John Wayne Gacy, serial killer. Yes. And I have questions for your husband specifically because he's from Wisconsin and all of these serial killers are from Wisconsin.
Speaker 6You should ask him, what do they feed you in Wisconsin? What's in the water? Why are you creating it?
Speaker 5I feel too cold and their brains get frozen. I don't know, and they just don't know what to do. Okay, this is she's a joking guy. She's just joking. Yeah, we love you, Wisconsin. Yeah, we love you, Wisconsinians. Whatever you're called. Smithsonians.
unknownWhat?
Speaker 6I think there's some new things that are coming out. Ooh. So uh for OTT release, there's an OTT release coming out for uh on Z5. I don't really watch Z5, so I don't know if you do or not. I don't want to pay for another streaming. Maybe someone else does. Yeah. Bugawat is a show that's coming out. It's an inspector show. Ashradwarsi's in it. Okay. And it's supposed to be really good. You like that guy. I do like him, but like the show I heard is supposed to be really, really good. Like it's about murder mysteries. How they figured out. Exactly. Exactly. But it's the twist and turns that how it gets to where it's supposed to get to. I think I don't think it's about the murder happening. I think it's like how they solved the murder and how Oh, so it's like that deli crime one. Maybe like deli crime. Yeah. So that released on October 17th, and it has a lot of good uh reviews. Um releasing this uh in like sorry, the end of this month of November is Dining with the Kapoors. Okay, I don't know who wants to really watch that. I think I'll watch it. Okay, fine.
Speaker 5Maybe because I just want to know what the gossip is.
Speaker 6Okay, so anyway, it's gonna be dining. You know there's not gonna be anything.
Speaker 5It's gonna be like, what do you call it?
Speaker 6Roshans? Roshans.
Speaker 5No, uh, what's the word?
Speaker 6Um Kim Kardashian?
Speaker 5It's gonna be it's gonna be curated gossip. Like it's not gonna be like what they really talk about.
Speaker 6Like we really wanna know why you were trying to marry Aleika as opposed to Sarah Sataria. Yeah, in the Kapoor, he's in it, and he's in the big picture. Yeah, and why Renbir, you got Renbeer confirmed that you married Alia because she was pregnant. Like, we just need to know that. Oh, we we don't have to confirm anything. Anyway, that's releasing November 21st. That's not gonna be on Netflix. And then the show called The Family Man, which I never watched, but my sister watched it, so it was really good. I think you watched it too, right? Very good.
Speaker 5I saw season one. I want to see season two, I just haven't had time. Okay, two.
Speaker 6So season three is releasing November 21st on Prime. Oh. So if you guys have watched it or want to watch it, season three is coming out November 21st. It's with Manoj Bajpai, amazing actor. And I heard it's a great show.
Speaker 5So like yeah, I wish you'd give it a chance. Yeah. Um, I have some South Indian OTT releases. Actually, Bahubali the Epic.
Speaker 3Oh.
Speaker 5So what they're doing is they're combining one and two together and making it one movie on OTT, and they released it on Halloween. And also the movie Canthra, chapter one that I just saw. Yeah. That's also released on Halloween. It released on where? On uh Amazon.
Speaker 6On Amazon? Yeah.
Speaker 5So I'm kind of excited to see uh see it again. And I don't know if I'm gonna watch Bali Bahu Bully the epic. Like, I might want do I want to sit for there for four or five hours and watch both of these movies combined into one? I don't know.
Speaker 6I think I will watch it. Yeah. Yeah. I love Bahu Bully. I do too. I do. It's a great movie. It was really well done. And people that have not seen it should watch it.
Speaker 5So my brother texted me the other day and he was just like, what is this Bahu Bully about? Is it a new one? I'm like, no, they're combining one and two, and he's like, that's gonna be really long.
Speaker 6I'm like, yeah. But why do they need to do that? I'm confused.
Speaker 5I'm just telling you what I see. So thank you. You're welcome. Muni, the chai is extra, extra, extra strong today because we have some interesting trending topics.
Speaker 6Okay. Well, the hot topic on Instagram right now is that Malaika was at the Enrique concert. Okay. And apparently she was there with her secret boyfriend. His name is Harsh Metha.
Speaker 5Okay.
Speaker 6And he's like a diamond merchant or something. And he's 33 years old. What? He's 33 years old and she's too. But hey, she looks hot and she can pull a 33-year-old.
Speaker 4You know what? Yeah. You can pull a 33-year-old. Good for you.
Speaker 6Yeah, enjoy. Yeah. Enjoy. Yeah. Wow. I'm sure they're both enjoying. He's cute too. He's cute. I think he's cute. Yeah.
Speaker 5And she, oh dude, I mean, she's hot.
Speaker 6We talked about Kiara leaving YRF. We talked about Ayan Mukherjee leaving YRF. Well, leaving Doom 3. Doom Doom 4. 4. Yeah, Ayan leaving that, not doing that. Because everything comes back to like what happened to War 2, right? Everything comes back. Apparently, and TR was supposed to, and TR's character was supposed to have a solo movie. Oh. He was supposed to have a solo movie, but that just got canceled because the movie War 2 did so bad. So they cancelled all that stuff. So that's fine.
Speaker 5See, now I need to watch this and see how. Like I got it. Actually, your sister watched it for the time. I did it, right?
Speaker 6Yeah, but like I don't trust all her judgment. I think she forward through it. I think she forward threw everything. Like, I need to like sit there and watch it ourselves and see what's happening there. Yeah, again, we don't know. Again, War 2 was bad because the story was bad, guys. That's what we're talking about. That's what we think. That's what we think. We haven't seen it. But you know what? We're gonna watch it and we're gonna come back and tell you guys what it was about. You might watch it. I will watch it. The other hot topic, which I thought was really hot, was that um Runbir, Kapoor, yes, and Dipika are supposed to reunite for a movie that Ayan Mukherjee is doing. So it was concerned. I don't know about this Ayan Mukherjee part of it, but they're supposed to be in the movie and supposedly a modern love story that's supposed to be under the RK film banner.
Speaker 5I heard this that he wants to bring back the RK film banner, which is Raj Kapoor movies, I believe.
Speaker 6Which I didn't even know that first I didn't know it was existed, and second I didn't know that it existed.
Speaker 5Well, you didn't know it existed because it like pretty much like went dormant for so long. And I think he wants to revive it.
Speaker 6Yeah, apparently he wants to revive it. You're gonna do this with Ayan Mukherjee, though. I know that's what I said. But they're their besties, they're best friends, that's what it is.
Speaker 5So um But it's it's it's actually good that he's reviving it with Deepi Kapandukon because they have amazing chemistry. They really have good chemistry, so good together.
Speaker 6So good together. So I am excited. Good choice. I feel like it hopefully it's a good movie. The concept is supposed to be a coming of age modern drama revolving a husband and wife living in the US with the.
Speaker 5Oh, I like that they're married too and not like single little kids.
Speaker 6Yeah, but it but I don't know. Living in the US, I don't know. You guys do modern love stories in India? Like, you don't live in the US. No, that's fine. Come do it in DC. We will come. We will watch. Alright, anything else happened? Okay, so we went through all this crazy stuff that we just talked about, but there have been some sad things happening in Bollywood right now. Um, couple of actors, senior actors that I know I watched them in movies and stuff like that, but I don't know if you have watched them all of them. But like Satis Shah, um, he passed away. The spitter? Yeah, the spitter from Mayahuna.
Speaker 5Oh, I love him.
Speaker 6Yeah, he passed away October 25th. Um, and then um he used to be in the a show, TV show called Sadabai Sarabai. Sarabai versus Sarabai.
Speaker 5I've heard I've heard I've heard of this, but I've never watched it.
Speaker 6So I saw a reel that he and his wife didn't have children. So um his longtime um assistant, uh, Ramesh uh was the one who did the last rites for him. I think one of the sons that one of the guys that played his son in the show, Sarabai versus Sarabai, did like carried carried him. Like was one of the shoulders that you know carried him. So that's kind of sweet. And I saw like a lot of um reels of like all of the people that he worked with just crying and stuff like that. Yeah. I mean he was 70, I think in his 70s and passed away. So he was a good character actor. Really, really good, very good. Yeah, someone that I grew up watching on like comedic role, Asrani, his name was. He passed away the week before October 20th. Um he was in the movie Diltara Ashik. He plays the dance master in that in that movie. So he wasn't, but again, a lot of comedic roles. Another actor called Pankajdir, and again, another side role. He done he's done like I don't know again, you won't know him unless if you see his face, you remember from other older movies. So he was in Soldier, he's in Bacha. Oh. So those movies he's been in. I've seen those movies, but yeah, but you don't, it's just yeah, he's an older actor, so you probably wouldn't remember him. He passed away also um on October 15th. And the last person that we would know is this guy named Rishap Dundan. He's a singer, um, and he just had a heart attack and passed away, so it's kind of really sad. I don't know who that is, but you showed me a picture of him. He's very young. He's very young, he's in his 30s and he just passed away. Yeah.
Speaker 10That's sad.
Speaker 6Yeah, so it's been a sad time in Bollywood with so many deaths in like the past like week and a half, two weeks. Yeah.
Speaker 5Money, I am so excited about today's episode. Yes, yes. Please tell me why. We're gonna talk about the king of slow motion, Raghav Jal. Yes, yes. My most favoritist. Favoritist. Okay, let me give you some background information about him. Yes. So he um is from Deradun in India. Um, he's regular middle class family, like no filmy background. His dad uh is a lawyer, his mom is a teacher. Okay, and he also like Raghav often says about his parents, they're they were very supportive of his creative style, but they were still kind of unsure. Like most they see parents.
Speaker 6Most they see parents, right?
Speaker 5What is this artsy stuff you want to do?
Speaker 6Please go do engineering.
Speaker 5Yes, or doctor, be a lawyer like your father or whatever. Exactly. But you know, um, his mom especially encouraged him to keep doing, keep learning, keep experimenting. You're you're really into dance, yes, you know, go for it.
Speaker 11Oh my god. Yes, sir.
Speaker 5So Ragov's big break came with dance. Yeah. He um auditioned for Dance India Dance, he did it for season three. Yes, he did, and that's when he did his slow motion thing. Yes, right? And it and he was he has a stage name, and I find it weird, but it's cro it's croc rocks. Yeah, and it's supposed to be crocodile, but I don't understand what the rocks part of it is for. I don't know either. The longest time, I thought it was cockroach.
Speaker 6Me too. I thought it was cockroach for the longest time. Why the I think it's with the Daisy accent. Maybe. And then, like recently in a in an interview of his, and they said it, I was like, oh, it's not cockarooch. Yeah. Then I looked it up. So it is crock rock.
Speaker 5But he's really, really good. But guess what? Yes, he that audition, he didn't make it into the main show. No, he did not. No, and the fans were pissed off. They're like, no, we want Raga. We want so he returned because of the fans through a wild card entry. Yes. Okay. Which, again, amazing, right? Um, so he blew everybody away with that with that cock crack. Well, he just won't see that.
Speaker 6Just slow mo move. His slow motion. Slow motion, yeah.
Speaker 5Yeah, it's terrible.
Speaker 6So I'm calling it a cock.
Speaker 4I can't I'm not calling you that, Rogov. I love you.
Speaker 5Um, so that's how he kind of gained his fame, right? Through being the contestant in Dance in Ya Dance, being the wild card card entry. Then let's move on with his the rest of his career. He became the host, and this is when I fell in love with him. Yeah, like really fell in love with him because I love his personality. He's so quick witted, and he's just humble, sweet, hilarious.
Speaker 6I think his wittiness is what made him like I think that's what made him into the becoming the host of the host. Yes. From the thing, because he's just so quick and so smart. If you see clips of him, if you've never seen clips of him, if you just see a small clip of him with anyone's interaction, anyway. He's so fast.
Speaker 5So fast and so funny. He almost reminds me a little bit of Sharuk. Yes, he does. I was gonna say that. But a little but more like funnier. Funnier, funnier, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6Sharuk has this charisma about him and like woodiness about it. He's got that. And he has this, but it's like more in a funny comedic style. Yeah, cute, like comedy, yeah.
Speaker 5Right? I don't know about that, but yeah, sure. But so anyway, he became the host um of Dance Plus, and that was with uh one of his main mentors, Remo D'Souza, who we talked about last week. Yeah, and so then he he became an amazing host, and again, that's where I fell in love with him.
Speaker 11Yami. Wow. Yes.
Speaker 5Let's move, let's keep moving on. Acting. Yes. When did he start that? He started acting in one of my favorite movies. Oh gosh. ABCD.
Speaker 6Why have we been talking about?
Speaker 5Directed by Remo, don't listen to her. Directed by Remo D'Asouza. Why are we talking about this movie? Then he was in Street Dancer 3D. Again, amazing movie. He was in a movie called Bohotua Saman. I don't know what this is. But I know you didn't like Street Dancer or ABCD too.
Speaker 6Okay, again, let's be very clear. Acting is bad. But they're not acting as good. Then they should not do movies.
Speaker 5Just as I should not do that. I liked it because again, we got some personalities of the choreographers, so I liked it. But where his acting really shone through. Where? Killed. Yes. Yes. Two years ago, this movie came out. Yes. And I just watched it recently because it just came out on OTT. Yes. And it's with Luxh. Yes. One of our other favorites. Yes. Fantastic. He was a villain. And rem remember one of the episodes we said that he did not win the Filmfare Award for Best Villain. It's because it's not a category. But Ifa, he won.
unknownOh.
Speaker 5For Best Villain. Oh. Yes. Okay, okay, okay. Yes, yes, yes, yes. So fantastic, fantastic movie. I I mean he was so, so good. Um you know, and one of the main things that I really, really like about him, like I said before, I feel like he's just he's humble. He's he's just a good he just seems like a good person.
Speaker 6He does seem like he does seem really humble. Loyal. Very loyal. I think last time we talked about was that he is he really looks up to uh Remo. Yes. But he like um so like every time I see him, he shows so much respect to them because he's they're all of them. There's guru. So he's just so humble. He's a good Indian. He seemed like a very good person, and I hope that it doesn't change. I hope he stays that way, and hope like he doesn't get like any negativity, and like I hope like he keeps rising. Yeah. But one of the funny things you didn't mention, his his real no his um banter with Shakti Mohan, a dancer.
Speaker 5Oh my god, yes. I want I kind of want them to be able to get together. Okay, if if I could put something in the world, I want to put some universe. I feel like Salman and Karishma.
Speaker 6Yes, yes, Raghav and Shakti Mohan need to get together. So cute. And now he's like a star too. Like, why Shakti, come on, girl. Like, why would you not want to be with Raghav with a cute little jury curl, like the curl? Like, you should be with him. He is cute, and he's a great dancer, and you're a great dancer, and you both are good looking. Hopefully, you both are single. Like, if you guys are single, get together. Like, if you're not single, I get it.
Speaker 5One um reel that I just saw recently, because that's what's supposed to just go through Raga reels. Like, yeah, yeah. And so there was one reel where he was like, um, who's gonna he always banters with her and he he always like, you know, when we get married, right? And she's like, he's like, when we get married, who's gonna do the who's gonna do the laundry? And she's like, you. And then then he's like, Caesar. Yeah, Caesar, she agreed to get married.
Speaker 6There was another moment where someone else was like, Oh, she's your Bobby. He's like, no, she's your Bobby. And he was like, Oh, don't talk to Bobby that way. He's like, No, she's your Bobby.
Speaker 5He said, uh, shoddy hoge madey, Bobby Hoge Teddy.
Speaker 11Bobby Hogi Teddy, Shadi Hogi Medi.
Speaker 6Again, so quick witted on those things. Good.
Speaker 5I love him. So he this is why he's one of my favorites. I just think he's funny, quick wit, quick witted, honest, loyal, sweet, down to earth.
Speaker 6Seemed very down to earth. Even in his interviews, when he's talking, all that type of stuff, whenever he's just it just seems he's very humble, very like true. And I again I hope he doesn't get like jaded by whatever Bollywood does to people.
Speaker 5Yeah, let's hope not. I mean, he hasn't been jaded so far. I think. I mean, he just started though. Well, I mean, because he's been in the limelight, right? Like he's been like one of these hosts and like talked about hosts. And this is why, like, I remember there was an episode on Dance Plus where Shah Rukhan was the guest. Yes. And Shah Rukhan came up on stage with him and he's like, I've been following this boy for a long time. I know that his dad's a lawyer and his mom's a teacher, and he like named their names. Exactly. And he's just like, Sir, like shocked. And when he said like his mom's name, we're like, oh my god, a mummy.
Speaker 6Mummy! Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5So I what I'm saying is I feel like he has been in the limelight. He's been like amongst all these big, big stars and stuff. So I'm hoping, I'm hoping he will stay still stay cool and down to earth like the Ragav that we love. Yeah, yeah. So stay that way. Okay, don't turn into a cock. Okay, cut it. Oh my god, you need to leave that. I think that's hilarious.
Speaker 6Because no one would expect you to say that.
Speaker 5This is gonna be an Eve.
Speaker 6Please leave it.
Speaker 5Do not put in the blues.
Speaker 4We'll see.
Speaker 5But you can keep your croc roach, croc rocks, dance move, whatever that's held, whatever that thing is called. Um, okay, so what's upcoming for our bestie Rog of?
Speaker 6Wait, we didn't talk about something very important.
Speaker 5Oh, tell me.
Speaker 6Bads of Bollywood!
Speaker 5Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry. Yes, he was in Bads of Bollywood after he did kill with his buddy Luxh. Yeah. I mean, again, fantastic, completely different character.
Speaker 6And he also was in Kisiki um by Kisiki John with someone.
Speaker 5Is this the lunging movie?
Speaker 6No, this isn't the lunging. Okay. I don't know if this is a lunging movie.
Speaker 5The Lungie dance. Like they had the Lungie. Yes, yeah, yeah. And Vinkatish was in this movie. Yes, yes, yes, he was. He was in this movie. I know he watched it though.
Speaker 6I didn't watch this. I have no idea. And I heard a story that um he um he got a call. I saw this. Okay, okay. This was on uh Kapil Sharma show. I think it was Kapil Trama show. I don't know what it was. He got a very good spirit. Yeah, this is good. So he got a phone call. His like his assistant or whoever was like, hey, Salman K Salman Khan. Salman. Salman's on the phone. Are you gonna talk to him? And he was like, Salman's on the phone. No, I need to talk to him right now. Because Salman is also a choreographer. And the assistant was like, no, it's Salman Khan. Bye. Bye. He's like, it's Bai.
Speaker 5So he stops the shoot, runs and gets in the phone. He's like, Bai is calling me. So after Bads of Bollywood, his upcoming projects, he's doing um a show. I I think it's a sh no, sorry. He's doing a movie called The Paradise. Okay. And it's with one of my other favorites, Nani. Oh so it's it's uh it's his Telugu debut, they're saying, um in South Indian sim cinema, and it's gonna be a pan India release. It's gonna be released in eight languages. Oh, nice, but including Spanish, which I'm a little confused because that's not just Indian language.
Speaker 4I have no idea.
Speaker 5Yes, I don't know. But anyway, it's gonna be released in Spanish, apparently. Okay. Um, and he's gonna be undergoing a major makeover, apparently, and he's gonna look very, very different and apparently do a very different role than what he's what he's normally what we've normally seen. Well, I mean, we've seen it. But he's been in so many different roles.
Speaker 6I mean, alright, exactly. We saw him be a villain, then he was like a brother, then he's like, you know, this friend. So like maybe like a romance guy here.
Speaker 5I don't know what it is. We don't know, but I'm excited. Actually, I don't think it's romance because this looks like a very I think it's like a Gerald Gerald movie. Like I feel I feel like I've saw I saw one promo, and Nani looks crazy in a good way. Okay, but like it's an it's Nani's one of your favorite actors. I love Nani, but it's in like a jail setting. So I don't know. We'll see. We'll see when it comes out. But I'm I'm kind of excited about that because like I said, I love Nani and I love Raghav. But yeah, so I mean, Raghav, like one of our favorites, and we hope you stay the same.
Speaker 6Talking about the new boys in Bollywood. Ooh. Um, and because what you talk about, and because we love bads of Bollywood so much. We want I want to talk about Luxh or Luxia Loani.
Speaker 5Hot voice. Yes, yeah. Oh, hot everything.
Speaker 6So he was born, his I think his real name is Luxh Lawani, but I think for for Bollywood they call him Lakshia. He's from Delhi's from uh Delhi. Um he comes from a non-fil industry background, so kind of similar to Raga, where he's like not, doesn't have any family in in the industry. His father is Ramesh Lawani and mother is uh Savita. And um he again didn't grow up with any type of lineage, and that's why they call him kind of an outside hero. He was also in Kill with the Raga. Yes. And then he's also He was the hero. He was the hero in that. Um he had uh his big breakout was in early in model, so he started as a model, and I can see why he was a model because he's very good looking. Yeah, and then from being in a model, he moved into being into TV, so he did the TV drama too. So he has a TV background too, which I think is really helpful for the actors. The ones that come from TV background, I feel like they just are really good. Susan Sushan singing Rajput, we talk about him all the time. Rajkumarau, also he's a TV guy too. He's a TV guy, too. I know you, yeah. Vikrant Masay, also exist. Yes, also TV guy. Sharuk Khan.
Speaker 5TV guy. TV guy.
Speaker 6So a lot of these TV guys.
Speaker 5I had no idea that Lux was also a TV guy, though. Or a model. I thought he just came out of nowhere. I I knew he was a TV guy, I didn't know he was a model.
Speaker 6Oh yeah. So he so his debut uh series was Warrior High, where he played um part some samathan. I don't know. I've never, I didn't watch. I know I watch a lot of Indian serials, but that's not one of the ones that I watched. Okay. Yeah. From there, he then went to another show called Aduri Kahani Hamari. Um, and I I feel like that one I knew about, but I didn't see also. So I didn't see any of his, but I kind of like knew of him that he's in the series. Um he did a couple other ones that if people have watched, called Pades Me Himeradil, and um then that was like his really big first break in the series. I think he was like a like a supporting lead role in that one. Okay, and then um he did a historical drama called Porus, and he was like a warrior, and people like saw him, like his acting, and that was so good. And I think that's kind of like that was a drama also 2070, 2018 hit that he did that. Oh my god.
Speaker 7First break Muji Milla through Roadies. I got through Roadies. So that's how I got this place.
Speaker 6So in 2019, he signed a three film deal, which is kind of interesting because I didn't know Dharma also does this. So it's really funny that Badza Bollywood talks about it, and the whole time I kept thinking it's YRF, but maybe Dharma also does. Does this. Well, you know what Akshay Kumar says. What did Akshake Kumar say?
Speaker 5Never sign a three-film deal. There's an interview where he's just like, I want to tell all the newcomers, do not sign a three-film deal.
Speaker 6I mean, but if Dharma comes to you and YRF comes to you, these are big hit movies, right? Big production companies. You saw what happened in Bads of Bollywood. You gotta go to the underworld. I agree. I'm not disagreeing with you. But yeah, so he signed that. So that gave him, like, he got into Kill was a movie he did. And then he's gonna do Dostana 2. Oh yeah. Yeah. Alongside Vikranmase. We talked about that. And Srilila. And Srilila. No, someone, I don't think it's Shrilila anymore. Some other girl. Oh, is it? Yeah, some other girl. I thought it was Srilila, but someone corrected me that it's not her anymore. Some other girl that he's supposed to do it with. Okay. So he's supposed to do that. And I think he's doing a movie with John V, too. Or Ananya. Oh no, with Ananya. Oh, I was gonna say, well, okay, poor guy either way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So he does bring this like hero type of style. So I feel like he's gonna get a lot more hero roles. The contrast between him and Raghav is that I don't know why Raga's being more stereotyped as a supporting actor. Because Lux looks like a hero. Yeah. Lux does look like more of a hero type of thing. Let's be real. Yeah. He does. He's very good looking. He has his voice. So I didn't watch Kill. And I didn't watch any of his series. I don't think you'll be scared. I don't think I'll be scared, but it's very gruesome. I think I should watch it. You should. But um when I heard his voice in baths, I was like, whoa. Who is that? Like, that is his voice. Yes. Wow.
Speaker 5Wait till you see Kill. There is one scene where he has no shirt on. And I was like, wow.
Speaker 6He is a hero. I we haven't seen him fully dance yet. We saw him like one or two dances. But we know Raghav is dancing. I'm sure it's coming. I'm sure we know Ragav is a dancer. Yeah. And Lux, we don't know. We'll see what happens with that. Yeah. And he but right now I don't know anything about his personal life. We know nothing that's happening. Um, he I feel like he's not on the spotlight as much, but does he not have a girlfriend or something? It doesn't say anything about his girlfriend. Doesn't say anything about his personal life right now. I mean, I'm sure there's some people want to have it. So he has a couple of upcoming movies coming out. Oh, I can't wait. Yeah. So we already mentioned Dostana 2 that's coming out. Um, but he's also gonna do this movie called John Meradil. He's in film, he's filming right now. Oh, who's in that? I'm actually not sure who's that one is. I oh, that's the one with Anania Pande. Remember what's like with Anania Pandemia. Oh, got it, got it. That's the one he's doing with Anania Pandey. Okay, probably. So um, I'm pretty sure we're gonna see more of his face everywhere. I'm pretty sure he is big right now. He's big. At least for me. Yeah, he's big. He's very big. And I remember like maybe like one once Kill came out, I saw an interview of Karen Joher saying that the next big star in Bollywood is going to be Luxh.
Speaker 5He's I feel like when he says things like this, though, it doesn't work out. So I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear this.
Speaker 6I feel like I feel like it will work out because now he we also know he's a good actor.
Speaker 5He's a good actor. He has talent. He has talent.
Speaker 6He's not just like a random, he's not like a John V, you know? He's not that.
Speaker 5Because I think he said this about John V and Ananya.
Speaker 6He did, and John V and Anya neither would but we agree that they're not good. Ananya is at least tolerable. She's getting there, but like how many times do you get how many outsiders get that type of none? No one, right? But Luxh, right now, what we see of him, what we've seen of him so far, of his two movies, or like two things that we've seen, the big things of him we've seen of him, he's done a really good job. Yeah. So we're hoping good things for him. Yes, we are, because you're so hot.
Speaker 5And you're a good actor. You're a good actor. Not just because you're hot. You're also a good actor. There's a lot of hot people out there that don't need to be observed, don't need to be acting.
Speaker 8Who should we add, maybe nomination age? Uh perapella film fera, I hope I win. So dictate.
Speaker 5So can I tell you something that I heard in an interview with Luxh and Raghov? Okay, yes, please, please, please. Yes. Lux did not like Raghov in the beginning. In the beginning. I thought when they first started filming Kill, he thought this guy was annoying. Yes, he did.
Speaker 6But now they're like such good friends. They're good friends. Because I saw another interview of Raghav where he's saying, like, my best friend right now in the industry is Luxh. Yeah. Like, I can call- I call him about everything. I call him when I'm happy, I'm calling him when I'm sad. If I have something good happening, I call him for that. If something bad happening, I call him for that.
Speaker 5Okay, so I have a question for you. If you could have chai with one of them, who would you pick? No, that's hard though. I would still pick Raghav. I mean, as good as it's like.
Speaker 6Okay, I wouldn't I would pick Raghav too.
Speaker 5Because I think that would be fun banter. It would be fun banter because I would just steer at Lux and I would know what to do.
Speaker 6And people would look at me like, oh, yeah, you're just good looking. I don't know what to ask you. If I was Raghav, I feel like we'd have like a friendship. The dance guy, and we have to move to relate to it, right? Like, what made you go into dancing? Like, why do you know? So, like, yeah.
Speaker 5Yeah, but I mean, I I mean I would love to do the sit down with both of them, but I mean, if I had to pick one, it would be Raghav because I just love to do that. I told you why I would pick it up for so long. If um one of them had a blockbuster the next five years, which who's gonna give it to you?
Speaker 6I I honestly do feel like it'll be Luxh that gives the blockbuster because I feel like he'll get more opportunities than Raghav will. Because again, the whole thing about Raghav being stereotyped as a supporting role, like either a villain role or like a best friend type of thing, like we've seen that with so many people. But if he if he is given a chance to do a movie uh like as a hero, as a main lead, I think Raghav will kill it. I just don't think he'll get as much opportunities as um he doesn't have the hero look. He doesn't I also don't think Sharok Khan had the hero look. I'm gonna tell you the truth. When again, I told you before. Yeah, but Sharok Khan came out in Diwani. I was like, who is this normal looking human?
Speaker 5Right, and I'm just gonna be able to do it. But I feel like Raghav's face too, he has a very innocent face.
Speaker 6You know, but Sharokhan did too.
Speaker 5I don't know if Sharokhan had an innocent face. He had those eyebrows, man. I love to I love it.
Speaker 6You're talking about Bazigar. I'm talking about Diwan.
Speaker 5No, even in Divana, he had those eyebrows.
Speaker 6His eyebrows did not leave him. Whatever his eyebrows are. I don't know what I don't know what that has to do with anything. You guys know what I'm talking about with those eyebrows. I do think that Lux should be the one that would give in the next five years give a blockbuster. Yeah, I think so. I I agree with you. Yeah, I do think so.
Speaker 5Um, but you know, at the in the end, I think both of these new boys of Bollywood, we both love them. Yeah. I think. I mean, I'm gonna speak for you.
Speaker 6Let us know what you guys think. Do you guys like did you guys like them? Did you watch any of their movies? Did you see Baz? Let us know about Baz, what you feel about it, because we've talked about it so much.
Speaker 5Yeah. And go watch Kill. It's towards the end where he takes off a shirt. Oh my god.
Speaker 4God so good.
Speaker 5Yes, just to see, this is why I can't do the interview with Luxh.
Speaker 6But I'll be like, can you take off your shirt? So this part of the interview, like right now, we do a special game where the guest takes off his shirt. You start.
Speaker 5Bye.
Speaker 10Alright.
Speaker 5Okay, money, it is blind time. Yes. I've got two for you today.
Speaker 6Let's hear it.
Speaker 5This handsome actor is going through the best phase in his career. His movie, which flopped upon release a decade ago, became a hit after its re-release. He followed it up with another hit. As per Asaurus, he has now made the cons conscious decis decision to become the flagbearer of talented outsiders to further endear himself to Bollywood fans who are fed up with talentless Nepo kids. They keep getting all the opportunity They keep getting all the chances while outsiders barely get one movie. His PR has been reaching out to platforms to portray him as a talented outsider. He's throwing shade at the Nepo kids, including a newbie who had a dream debut. Can you guess the actor?
Speaker 6I think they're talking about Harsh rather on it, right? Correct. Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 5And he had, I mean, I really liked Sanam Therikasam. It was a good movie. I haven't seen this new one, but I've heard good things about it.
Speaker 6I've heard good things about it. But yeah, it was correct. The San Anteri Kassam, when it first came out, it was a flop. And then they had a re-release. Remember, they were re releasing a lot of movies, and with that re-release, um it was like everyone's watching it. Like everyone's going crazy over that.
Speaker 5Yeah, because it was it was really okay.
Speaker 6Yeah, you said he was a really good movie.
Speaker 5And like he's talented, right? We lot we said this last week. I think we liked that Tara versus Bilal and all of some of his other movies. So well, good for you, Harsh Margin Martin, for being like the p the p flag bearer for all of these. For like, what is it, non-nepo kids? Non-nepo kids and outsider kids. Hopefully, you can do something good about it. Yeah. Um The Second Blind. This project generated a lot of buzz when it was announced a few years ago. It starred a Bollywood superstar and a South Indian superstar. The movie was bankrolled by Top Bollywood Studio and it was directed by a talented filmmaker. But when it underperformed, this the South Indian distributor gave an interview blaming the Bollywood studio boss for its failure. As per sources, this irk the studio boss. He has shadow banned the South Indian superstar and the distributor from his studio. The South Indian superstar won't be offered any more scripts from the studio, and the loudmouth distributor won't be giving any won't be given any distribution rights either.
Speaker 6Well, I think we talked about this already. War II, NTR, but I don't know who the distributor is.
Speaker 5Who is that loudmouth distributor? Somebody, oh, Naga Vumpsy, I've heard of him. Okay. He's a telegraphy. Um, but yeah, so but the shadow banning on junior NTR, why why? What do we do?
Speaker 6I again we don't know why people like again, why did Kiara lose YRF contract for Doom 4? Because you were gold bikini, I guess. I mean, I I have no idea. I'm very confused, like, what has to do with actors. She was in it for 15 minutes. Didn't you shadow ban Ritek Rosha now? So you're kicking him out of everything.
Speaker 5Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 6Like I'm very confused. Like, war, like maybe Kabir needs to go. Maybe that's what needs to happen.
Speaker 5I mean, yeah, I don't know. But yeah, well, those are your blinds. Well, thank you. You're welcome.
Speaker 6We need more juicier ones.
Speaker 5You gotta tell these people.
Speaker 6Okay. All right, money. It is vow time. What are the polls saying? All right, the polls this week. We got the song Nafrat by Darshan Ravo, one of my favorite singers.
Speaker 5You do love him.
Speaker 6And yeah, I do love him. Every time he comes out a song, I usually love it.
Speaker 5I'm surprised you didn't pick it before they did.
Speaker 6I put it out there and I was wondering if people are gonna pick it. And if they didn't, it would have been my vow. Okay. But people did pick this one, and it's a really good song. It's a really good song, yes. What's yours?
Speaker 5Mine is I told you I've watched the old Canthara. Yes. Um, I rewatched it and then I watched the new one. So from the old canthara, yes. It's a Kanara movie, Kanada film, Kanada song, and the song's name is Singara City. It's really nice. It's one of those cute romantical type of songs. Um, I really enjoy it, and I hope the rest of you do as well.
Speaker 6Oh, what's you're about? I'm excited to hear that one. Um I have a song called, it's called Moon. Okay. Um, and it's by Kushagra and Showkit. And I talk about these people before I put on it. I think you have. Yeah, yeah. So it's a really fun song. It's called Moon, but they say John the whole time. So like they're the song's called Moon, but they say John. Yeah, yeah. So it's actually a really fun song. I like it.
Speaker 5Okay. Well, thank you everyone for listening again to our extra shada chai. Yes. And like, share, follow.
Speaker 6Like, share, follow. Bye. Bye. The one that we liked before was hilarious. We were in person. This is a crazy episode.
Speaker 5I'm sorry, but I'm gonna leave all of this in random, disgusting, scandally nonsense. Oh my god. Because it is so good.
Speaker 6That's what the in person we do.
Speaker 5Oh, talked about his hot body. Yeah. He is so hot. I'm gonna find that scene for you. Find it, clip it for me, and I'll put it out. I'm gonna be like, let me find my I need to talk to you about serial killers from Wisconsin. Wisconsin. Why are they all from Wisconsin, though? Like at least three, because I've seen three three movies. Yeah, you there's something in that water. It's actually good that he's reviving it with deep cooker because it's actually good that why do we have this problem?
Speaker 4With those, only those. I know we just got her married from here.
Speaker 6Hello, hello, pick me up. Pick me up.
Speaker 4Pick her up. Come on. Give her a cheesy line. Give her a cheesy pickup line. Pick her up. Come on.
Speaker 6Weird mother, mom jokes. Come on, pick me up. Girl, is your dad a terrorist because you'd have that? Is that like a rock of Jul. Juyol.
Speaker 5Girl, you must be tired. You've been running around my mind all day. Another pick up.
