Money, we're back. Yes, we are in person. And the weather is so nice. Is it really that said it's about it's I'm not wearing a jacket. I'm wearing a sweater, but I'm not wearing a jacket.
SPEAKER_06I feel like you'd never wear a jacket.
SPEAKER_05I hate jackets. Good in Florida.
SPEAKER_06And you always wear like you come wearing tank tops in the winter.
SPEAKER_05No, that's only at home.
SPEAKER_06It's like, oh, you come to my house too. So I'm like, I'm bundled up in a sweater. And you're like, I'm just gonna get it.
SPEAKER_05And then I'm like, can it can you put your heater on?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah, like put the heater on, but I'm gonna wear my tank top.
SPEAKER_05Because I we Florida people are not used to getting layered and no, you've been living here for like 15 years. It doesn't matter. 13, but it doesn't matter. Close enough. Okay, anyway.
SPEAKER_06Um, what's how's your week been? It's been good, Ramadan's going well. So that's what I'm practicing. Practicing being patient, practicing being patient with me. Okay, good. Patient with everyone. Good girl. While driving, good while dealing with meetings. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Oh god, and you've been so busy with work.
SPEAKER_05Actually, I've been busy too. I hate work. Oh, yeah, we we all do. I don't I'm very I know very little people that love their job. I love the people I work with though, I'll have to say that. But that's the rest of it. Yeah. So we just came back from San Antonio. Oh yes, how was that? It was good, it was warm, it was really warm. But somehow bought these like Mexican jumping beans. Have you ever heard of these things? I guess I have. Okay, so he bought them, and all I hear now is like you can hear him jumping in the box, and I'm like, what the heck is that? It's like is Hudson around or something, like walking, you know? It's like dip, dip, dip, dip, dip. So it's a little bit annoying, but he really liked them. And he loved San Antonio. We did river walk and all that.
SPEAKER_06I've never been to San Antonio. I've been to Austin, Houston, and Dallas in Texas. I've never been to San Antonio. So it's all a major cities. What is yeah, what is the vibe there?
SPEAKER_05It's warm. I mean, I don't know. It's warm.
SPEAKER_06The vibe is warm.
SPEAKER_05I don't know. I don't, I mean, it's it's the people was it like yeah, it was fine. What would the culture like? It was it was very Tex-Mex-y, right? I think because it's like the I think it's the closest city to Mexico, right? Like the closest, biggest city to Mexico. I mean, it was nice. The only thing I don't understand about Texas, or maybe it's just like something for us to understand, is they're all based, highway-based. Like if it's like if you want to go, you want to go anywhere through the highway. Yeah, like if I want to go to Walmart, I have to go through this highway, do a thing called a turnaround. Yes, and then come back and go to Walmart. Yeah. Texas is all about that.
SPEAKER_06It's weird. And there are highways, or it's because it's a huge state, right? And everybody's gonna be able to do it. I get it, but I don't like it. I I it's not we're not used to it because we are here. That's like very suburbia, and then there's highways. Exactly, exactly.
SPEAKER_05Okay, so did you watch anything fun while you were hanging out over the weekend or during the week?
SPEAKER_06I know you're busy with work, but no, I don't think I watched too many things, but I'm trying to still stay on top of my remember my Turkish drama that I've been talking about. Which one? The Turkish drama. Oh, yeah. Arafta. Arafta. The third week I'm talking about it. Yeah, so good, guys. Like, it's really how many seasons in there?
SPEAKER_05How many episodes?
SPEAKER_06It's one season, but it's like it's still going on. It's ongoing. Okay. So I watched the mega episodes, and those are like all the episodes put together. So on that, I'm on uh it's like episode, I think, 28, 28 right now. Okay. So it's like mega. So but there, I think, I think individual episodes might be 66 or something like that. Wow. I think that's what it says. But it's but they finish serious though. The Turkish ones actually finish. The Indian serials never finish, and new drama always happens. Because you know, I also watched those everybody. Because that's my the Indian dramas are my comfort food. Not comfort food, but like my trashy TV. You know, like like I have my housewives, exactly. Like you have the real housewives, yeah, and I have Indian drama, and that's like housewives. Okay. So is that all you watch though? That's all I watched.
SPEAKER_05Oh, okay, good.
SPEAKER_06Well, I also watched something else, but we're gonna talk about it later.
SPEAKER_05Okay, cool. I um I watched this um show on HBO Max. It's called Task. It's with uh Mark Rafalo, the Hulk. I like him really good. It's like your type of show. It's like a spy police type of thing. It's so good. I really think you'll like it.
SPEAKER_06Okay, I'm gonna watch it. What is it on HBO? You said HBO. Okay, I'm gonna watch it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and then I watched a few Daisy things. Did I? No, I don't think I did. No. I started watching something, but again, we'll talk about that later. Okay. Muni, I feel like I've missed the gossip in the last few weeks. I don't know why, but I feel like a lot has happened this week.
SPEAKER_06I feel like sometimes it's quiet in Bollywood, and sometimes a lot of stuff happens. Yeah, so what's happened this week? Well, the biggest thing Rishmika and Vijay got married. Finally, the secret is out.
SPEAKER_05They're married. They were dating all this time.
SPEAKER_06Oh my god, somebody would know about this. Oh my god. Yeah. So they got married, and I think I think it was a very small, intimate type of ceremony. It didn't look small, but it looked like very family. Very family.
SPEAKER_05Friends type of thing. Okay. I mean, it wasn't like your big thousands of people that come to weddings, but I'm sure they're gonna have a reception with them.
SPEAKER_06I'm sure I'm sure once when they're done. But it looked really cute. It was very in a very colour. Very traditional. Very traditional. Yes. That's what I know. It was very traditional. And someone did a comparison of their like their wedding in like a movie and versus the wedding of real life. And it kind of looked very similar. Yeah. But it was very, it was is it very traditional South Indian?
SPEAKER_05It looked very like so. I heard it was so she's um from Korg.
SPEAKER_06Okay, what is that? I don't know.
SPEAKER_05It's I think it's an area in Karnataka. Okay, okay. And he's Telugu, right? Okay. So I think they did a combination of both the traditions.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's nice.
SPEAKER_05There was another comparison I saw of like it was there's a picture of them walking their backs, uh-huh, and then somebody compared it with like Shivan Parvati. Yes. It was really good. I did I did see that. But they looked so good. Oh, like they looked from top to bottom, like he was wearing, like he had um the Mindy on his hand and his face. I saw that. And then the jewelry, like they both had beautiful jewelry on.
SPEAKER_06Yes, like they looked good, it was very traditional jewelry too. It was it was it wasn't like the modern, like nothing's wrong with that. There's no glittery. There was no glittery, but very traditional jewelry. I saw like all the gold, like he was wearing the gold like on the karma thing, and then everything was very traditional style, um, and the families. It was it was really cute. It was very good. They looked very happy, yeah, and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_05What I didn't understand is they called it Viroche.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I was trying to get like isn't it Virache? That's like I was thinking too, okay. I had the same thought when I looked at it. I was like, why are they called Viroche? Is her name Rosh Mika? I don't know. You tell me. It's Rosh Mika. Maybe they pronounced it differently in in where? Carnatica. The A is ah. I lost my check. I'm telling you, girl.
SPEAKER_04I don't know.
SPEAKER_06I don't know. Anyway, that was my only question. Um the entire thing. No, we had multiple questions. In the Citibank letter. We had the we had the trifold wedding invitations and then we had that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05And why are like why they kept it such a secret? Like, I guess they just didn't want the paparazzi thing. I guess. I guess. Maybe they didn't want to be crowded.
SPEAKER_06Not the wedding, their whole relationship, right? I don't know. I feel like it's it's kind of a stigma in the actually, I don't know.
SPEAKER_05I feel like recently look at like Dipika Renvier, Alia and Rebecca.
SPEAKER_06Renbir, Ren Beer, Katrina and Renbir. So all the Rembrandt stuff have you know been that way.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Maybe that's no even Renvier and Deepika, right? Like they kept it all. The only thing they hid for is the actual date of the wedding, but we all knew they were dating. Yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_06I don't know. Maybe they didn't want like, I don't know, some people believe in like Evil Eye or Nuzir or something like that.
SPEAKER_05Well, they looked great. They came out with a big bang.
SPEAKER_06And then afterwards, you see them when they came out after they got married, they were like with the paparazzi. I don't know where they were going to go going to dinner or something like that. They were and someone was like, Oh, Mrs. Devakanda, and then she was like smiling, it was really cute, and they're waving to everyone. It was nice, and she looks really cute. She has like this red, like anarchali dress on, and they look really nice. Yeah, she they're a good-looking couple. So to some.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I know you don't like it, but they are, I guess. Um, also, they're coming out with a new movie, too. That just got posted. I didn't okay. What was the movie name? It's called Ranabali. Oh, nice. It looks very traditional, like village type movie, which I love. Okay. So I'm excited. I say it's looks like a Telugu movie, but they'll probably maybe make it a pan India movie. I don't know. I feel like they're dub it into it.
SPEAKER_06I think they're gonna do that for everything now. I feel like it gets a lot more audience. Why wouldn't you do that? Yeah, and it reaches a lot more people. Why not? Yeah.
SPEAKER_05So I'm excited to watch that and I'm excited for them.
SPEAKER_06Yay! Yay, uh, excited. From one Vijay to another Vijay. Okay, dropping this morning. I actually saw this. Okay. Was that actor, Satani actor? I don't know what his last name is, but he's Vijay. Oh, he's oh, Tamil, the Tamil. Yes, yes, yes. He's known as just Vijay. Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_05And they call him like Talapati.
SPEAKER_06I don't know.
SPEAKER_05And he's a great dancer.
SPEAKER_06Uh, okay. I mean, I think he's a great dancer. He has good songs, he has really good songs. Um, his wife is filing for divorce for cheating.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_06What is up with these actors and cheating?
SPEAKER_05Let me let you in on a secret. This there have been rumors about him and this actress named Trisha. Uh, Trisha Krishnan, she's actually like one of my favorite like Southean actors from like the 90s to early 2000s, probably 2000s. And there's been rumors about them for years.
SPEAKER_06So what if it's for So it could be her. If it's for years, why are you not divorcing your wife? Why are you still married to her? Like, why are you doing this to someone?
SPEAKER_05We don't know what their circumstances are.
SPEAKER_06That's true. You're right. Right? We don't, like we don't know. You're right.
SPEAKER_05Maybe apparently they were living apart for the last two years. Uh and then now she's finally actually filed, right? Right. So we don't know what their circumstances are, but Trisha, naughty, naughty, I mean, I don't I I'm him too.
SPEAKER_06I mean, you're yeah, but like you like exactly, him too. You're right. He is very naughty.
SPEAKER_05Like, what are you doing?
SPEAKER_06Yes, and she also knew that he's obviously he knew he knew he, I mean, I don't know. I've I've I just feel like if you're not happy in in your marriage and you're gonna find it somewhere else, then just leave, divorce, you know? Like, why don't you do that? Yeah, so I'm glad that she filed for divorce is leaving him. So that's the breaking news I just saw. Yeah. So one what was it, what was the thing that you saw?
SPEAKER_05Oh, so I saw there's a meme that was like, well, one Vijay gets married, another Vijay gets divorced. So yeah, people got time on their height. Oh my god. But yeah, I know. I mean, you know, good for good for his wife, and I don't know what's gonna happen with him. Does he have children? Do you know? Probably. I don't know though. I've like I don't follow him as much as some of the other Tamil and South Indian actors. What was his famous song that he did? That um there's a movie called Beast. Okay, and the song is that Halamiti Habibo. Oh, yeah, it's a really, really good song.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it's a very catchy song.
SPEAKER_05He has really good songs, and that Ranjitame, that's him too. Ranjitame, Ranjitame, yeah.
SPEAKER_06He's like, he's a good act dancer because I saw those. No, he has good songs. Okay, he has good songs. That's what he works on, probably. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05But he's been in some really good um Thummel movies that I like. I don't think he's good looking at all, though, but he's in good. I think he's handsome. Ew. I think he's handsome. Money, your taste in men. What? Excuse me. I mean, I love on him, but remember Love and War?
SPEAKER_06That movie that's supposed to be- It's been going on for a thousand years, my whole lifetime. I feel like it reminds me of Brahmashtra when Brahmastra kept we kept hearing about it being made, made, made. Yeah, and it took forever for it to be released. Common link, ruined beer. Yeah, yeah. So Love and War. And Alia too, because Alia's also. So maybe they're bad luck for movies or something like that. Cast it together. Cast it together. Because Love and War apparently is had another now has to stop had to stop its production, not production, I guess direction, whatever they're doing. Because Sanjay Basali had uh chest pains. I don't know if it was a heart attack. Was he okay? Oh my god. Yeah, and this was like last, I think on February 24th. Um yeah, they haven't no speaking of February 24th, that's when Sri Devi passed away.
unknownOh wow.
SPEAKER_06A long time ago. Eight years ago. Eight years ago, yeah. Yeah, that was her death. Back to Sanjaila Basali.
SPEAKER_05So he's okay now or he's in the hospital?
SPEAKER_06He's he's hospitalized, and his his team has not confirmed anything that the movie just is um on hold. On hold, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Oh, oh well. Well, hopefully he feels better, and I mean not for for his sake too, but also for the movie's sake.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I mean, yeah, hopefully he's he's doing okay. Hopefully it wasn't anything too serious, and whatever it is he greet he does well, he recovers and comes back. Yeah. Um, but the production has halted for about two weeks. I mean, it makes sense. Yeah, but like I feel like this movie just constantly is being moved in. Blocker after blocker. Yeah, because original is supposed to be beginning of like sometime this year.
SPEAKER_05Beginning of this year, yeah.
SPEAKER_06It's supposed to be like spring of this year, supposed to come out. Then it got pushed out, I think, to the summer of this year. And now I think it's like pushed out to like fall or winter of this year.
SPEAKER_05I mean, fall and winter, there's so many movies coming out.
SPEAKER_06Like, how are they gonna compete with like there's so many different movies? There's so many things coming out, but like also like Renvier like had to like move around his scheduling because of his other movies, Ramayna and like and um Animal Park. That's Animal Part 2.
SPEAKER_05Oh, that's right, yeah.
SPEAKER_06He has like so many movies, and I think like this is like clashing with the dates and stuff like that. So I don't know. I don't know. Maybe their husband and wife are bad luck together in movies, they just like typically don't cast them anymore, guys. Yeah, I don't know. After this, maybe if their chemistry doesn't look good, people are not gonna cast them. Yeah. Because Brahmastra was just weird. They didn't look good together.
SPEAKER_05I feel like they don't even have chemistry in real life. Okay, so the kid's cute though. Kid's so cute. She's so really cute.
SPEAKER_06She's really cute. Speaking of Alia, who is she was at BAFTA. What did she do? I know, that is what people were saying. She was at the BAFTA, the British Academy Film and Television. Oh no, yeah. It's like the it's like the Oscars of the officers. Which I honestly Britannia. I'm gonna tell you, Britannia.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_06She wasn't nominated for anything. They just invited her as a presenter, uh, as a representative. I guess she's relevant in the world. I think so. Because uh Priyanka did 2021, Dipika did 2024 uh awards. So the uh so Alia, I guess the next star from India was Alia. So she came, yeah, she came. And I feel like everyone follows that path internationally, too. Like Dipika did it, sorry Priyanka did it, Dipika did it. She's gonna go to Ellen.
SPEAKER_05Oh, Ellen's not a thing anymore. Jimmy Fallon.
SPEAKER_06Exactly, exactly. Um, so she was there and she presented award the best film in non-English language. And when she did that, she she started off with in Hindi. So she spoke in Hindi and did that part of it. Um there was some kind of backlash on that, like, oh, you guys only speak Hindi in the film fairs as much as you like in, but you're coming to I mean they do somewhat, but there were some things like that. People always make comments about that type of stuff. Yeah, so she gave somebody's not gonna complain about that. About something exactly. Um so she gave uh so she gave that award. Um and then she looked and she looked gorgeous. Her outfit looked really nice. It was backless Gucci outfit she wore. She was and she's I think a uh representative of Gucci too. So she she wore all her stuff. She looked gorgeous on that. Um, but one of the fun other things of what happened with her was that she was on on the carpet when they were interviewing her, and one of the questions was one, you know, can you tell us what you um what's one movie of yours that had the best twist? Oh god, and what did she say? I don't think it was what she said, or maybe what twist it was for her, I think it was. And then I think it's a way she did the expression, and people just came after her. Like, what is the overacting that you're doing? Just say the movie, like the Indian girls and maybe boys. It's everyone, it wasn't just girls, it was everyone.
SPEAKER_05Oh they just they're not trained in Western media, maybe, maybe we don't know because I guess they but they act normal in India.
SPEAKER_06That's what I'm that's why I think people were telling that's what people came out. I don't know, so I think that's what happened. I think I think because we see pops or something, maybe I don't know, I don't know, but we see them being interviewed in Bollywood and things like that, and we see their behavior there, and when they when she where her the way she did the acting here, everyone was like, Why are you overacting? Just be normal. Maybe she got nervous, maybe, and that could have been, and maybe it was like she wasn't expecting the question, the question came out all of a sudden. Yeah, and her to her story, her thing was Gone Girl. Do you remember ever watch Gone Girl? That movie, yeah. Yeah, movie, yeah. She said that was the biggest twist in her head. Like it was like Oh, I thought it was a movie that she did. No, no, no. Oh, okay. I was gonna say Raz. Oh, yeah, no, no. I think they asked about like the Razzi, whatever. Razzi was Razi. But I think they asked her like what to your in your thing, what was the you know?
SPEAKER_05Oh, Gone Girl was good.
SPEAKER_06I thought it was a good answer. I didn't think it was a good answer. I think it wasn't a bad answer. Yeah. Um, but I guess the way she said it was the way she said it was kind of like, why are you overacting? But I thought it was a good answer. And she was trying to like talk back. Like, I don't know, and she was like, I don't know why I behaved that way. Like, I was just trying to think in my head. She was doing damage control. She was I think she was doing damage control, like why that happened. And she was just like, I was just in my head, I was just trying to go quickly and think of something. Uh-and that's probably what happened.
SPEAKER_05It's okay, Alia. We I mean, you know what? You do some things bad, Mary Renbier, and you do some things good.
SPEAKER_06But BAFTA also got some backlash, also, because they did a lot of censoring during the during It wasn't live? I don't think it was live.
SPEAKER_05I thought most of these award shows are alive.
SPEAKER_06I thought it was live too, but then I read somewhere that it wasn't live. Okay. So they did a lot of censoring on like um, you know, Free Palestine and things like that. Oh, the hecklers? Yeah. So they did the Free Palestine. So it was no, that wasn't Hecklers. It was the actual like award, a word Ease that said Free Palestine. Yeah, yeah. Like there's somewhere here and there they like they said that and they um, but there was a heckler when the Sinners guys Oh, like Michael Michael B. Jordan. Michael B. Jordan and the other actor, I forget that yeah, um, they're presenting something, yeah, and um someone said the N-word, and they did not censor that. So it's a lot of backlash on BAFTA for that reason, too.
SPEAKER_05That is big. Yeah, like you're back.
SPEAKER_06I mean, if you're censoring all this stuff, yeah, exactly. If you're censoring that stuff, you should censor that stuff too. No, that like you you can't say words like that on that. Yeah, if you're yeah, like I don't understand why that wasn't censored. So there's a lot of backlash on that too.
SPEAKER_05Like, so remember earlier I was telling you that I watched a few things that I was gonna talk about it later. Yes. So I'm gonna start with two things that I started watching and one I might continue to watch, okay, and one I completely stopped. Okay. So tell us. There's a uh the uh they see series on Amazon Prime. Okay. It's called Hush Hush. Hush hush, what is that? It's with Drew Tala. I did not even hear about this. It's very bad. Okay, that's why I did not hear about it. So But there's a season two, so I don't maybe it gets better. But I started watching the first episode. Snooze Fest. Oh gosh. So I I I think I turned it off within 15, 20 minutes. It could be another like dubba cartel for me. I don't know, but there is a season two. So maybe I'll give it another try. It's called Hush Hush. Hush hush. What is the story about? Do you know like the main story? I don't know, because it got so dumb. I didn't even I just I couldn't even get to the main story. She seemed to be some type of like, I don't know, something like some high-up government official type of thing, or like a like a handler. Not a handler. It came out in 2022.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I just started watching it because I wanted a series to watch. It's a bunch of women. Okay, yeah. Okay, I did see this. Kiss Soha Ali Khan's in it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, yes. Good cast. Oh, the cast looks amazing, actually. That's why that's why I wanted to watch it. Well, I mean, Google users gave it 67%. Maybe I need to try and then 5.2 on IMBD. So you're probably not wrong on it.
SPEAKER_05I don't know.
SPEAKER_06So I I left that one alone. It's not, yeah, it says not a great series in a thriller genre. And you watch a lot, the thing about you is that you watch a lot of LC series serials. Yeah. So like you have like like you have like a bar, and if you're not meeting that bar, you're like to spend eight episodes watching something if the first episode is not did not grab me, right?
SPEAKER_05It didn't grab me. So I left it alone. Yeah. I should I should Julka's in it too. I know. There's a lot of good. This cast looks really good. Yeah. That's why I wanted to watch it. It's don't. Then I started watching The Spondee. Mrs. They Spondee. Okay. How was that? It's on Hot Star. And I think I'm gonna get a lot of hate right now because I have realized it's the story's good. The acting is so bad, and I think I'm gonna say it. Oh my god. I don't think Mother Dixot is a good actress unless she has a good director. For example, Dave Doss. But is that the actress's fault or is that the fact that if you're an if you're an actress, you should be acting in this.
SPEAKER_06With Ashwarya, I'm like, no, she's a bad actress. Exactly. But Mother has produced so many good movies. That's what I'm saying. But think back to those movies. Yeah, you're right. Okay. We loved her for her dancing in a lot of them. But I personally loved her for her acting as well. I think. Which ones?
SPEAKER_05Tell me what Dave Das.
SPEAKER_06I told you Mr.
SPEAKER_05Daddy. Okay, Dave Das, good ac good director. Mithri then, good actor, good. Good director. Anjam, good director. Yeah. So I think it's Hank on. Surge Suraj Brat Bardatya family, yes, good directors. So I'm telling you, I really feel like Damluka. You know how Ramluka, you know how you keep saying she weren't acting, but there's she was basically dancing around trees and around these boys.
SPEAKER_06No, it was good.
SPEAKER_05It was cute. It was cute, exactly. But you go back to Aishuria Rai and you're like, oh, she's such a bad actor. But she I have more bad movies of Aisharia Rai than I have good movies of her. But I think again, I think Madhari was known as the dancer. Like, right? For the most part. And she was probably the only good one of that time. Her Jui Chawala were like.
SPEAKER_06Krishnma Kapoor was around there too.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but Krishna Kapoor I feel like was a different league also. Like if you look at Dilta Pagalhe, wasn't Madhari considered the senior actress? I think she was considered. Diltapagalhe. I didn't think that movie was that great anyway, right? I don't think them I don't love the movie. And just going back to Mr. Day's mind. Yes, go ahead. The story seems good. I'm on episode two. Yeah. The acting is very bad. Okay. But I'm gonna watch it because the story story looks good.
SPEAKER_06But this also like go back to like I I agree with your director. I was just I was just pulling you like I do the thing directors do help out, and I didn't realize how much directors help out until recently when I started watching, like you started paying attention a lot more of this stuff, right? Um, is that remember I talked about the royals? Yeah. And I told you like Boomi is a fantastic actress. In certain times. Exactly. But that m that show, that's why I like I like she's I know she's a good actress, but it was her acting was so bad. And I really don't know if it was her direction that she got or if it was just sh you know that character. That character or what it was. I just think it was really bad. She, only she. Everyone else, I thought it a good job. But she was the one that was bad. So you're right. It might be the direction.
SPEAKER_05So since you just brought up Miss Boomy, water saving lady. Yes.
SPEAKER_06Water saving.
SPEAKER_05Water making lady. Whatever she's doing with water.
SPEAKER_06She was very excited about her new water that she's bringing to the.
SPEAKER_05What? The water name. Glacier. No, it came from the glacier. It was called something with a bay. Oh, was it? Yeah.
SPEAKER_06It's called Back Bay.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, see something with Bay.
SPEAKER_06A premium eco-conscious mineral water breath. Yeah, whatever movie. You keep that. Swords from the High. Sorry, I just gotta say it again. Sword from the Himalayan foothills.
SPEAKER_05No, that's the clip. It's the clip of her sister talking about it. That's terrible.
SPEAKER_06The water is packaged in sustainable, certified paperboard cartons with plant-based caps focused on sustainability. And it goes for 150 rubber.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's like$25 or something. It's not$25, but it's it's very expensive.
SPEAKER_06But it's expensive for India. Who's buying this? Just your elite 10%?
SPEAKER_05Not me. Oh man. Anyway. Anyway, so you just mentioned that her acting was really bad in Royal. Yes, it was. I watched Dal Dal. It's also on Amazon.
SPEAKER_06Yes, that looks really good.
SPEAKER_05It's good. And she's good. See? I told you. It could be direction. Yes. Character. Because this was a she was like um it was like a crime series type of thing, murders and all that good stuff. Everything up my alley. Everything up my alley. Which is also why I'm watching the Mishra's Dish Ponde, because it's also murder. It also looked really good. That's what I'm saying. Like it looks really good. That's why I'm sticking to it. Okay. Um, but Boomi was really good in that.
SPEAKER_06The story was very, very good too. Again, I feel she's a good actress. I really think she's a good actress. So for me for when I watched Royals and she wasn't good, I'm just like, what is happening, girl? Like, what happened? Why are those lips looking like that? Why are you not acting very much? Her lips are still there in this one.
SPEAKER_05But again, If you don't pay attention to it because the story is so good.
SPEAKER_06But I that's what I'm saying. Like you couldn't pay attention to royals when she was talking because the way her lips were the whole time. Maybe deflated by Daldal.
SPEAKER_05I don't know. Do whatever you want, but like But this is good. I recommend Daldal. The Shpande, I think I semi-recommend it.
SPEAKER_06So once you're done, you'll recommend it, maybe. Maybe. Or you'll say, yeah, you're an A. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05So far it's good because I mean, the reason why I started watching it, Madri, good. Yes. Remember the guy from Thumbin, Priyanchu? Is he in it? He's in it. Oh wow. Great. Wow. Murder, fantastic. But the acting is not very good. Oh wow. I don't know. I don't, I think it might be direction because I feel like everybody's acting is just off. So it could be could be direction. Okay. Okay.
SPEAKER_06But but Daldahl got 44%. It's really good though. I'm surprised. It's really, really good. I wonder why I did why it's not like higher. Maybe I don't know if a lot of people have watched it yet.
SPEAKER_05Because it just came out.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah. It's, I mean, uh it's not 2022, like hush. Hush no, hush, no. You're right. You're right. Is it is international crime thriller, thriller, and it explores uncomfortable social truths, it says. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05It's really, really gory and good.
SPEAKER_06Okay. Sorry. I think I I want to watch it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_06So I I do want to watch it.
SPEAKER_05It is gory, though. I'm just gonna put that out there.
SPEAKER_06Alright, so while you were watching Gore. Gore. Yes. I was watching Imran Hashmi's new show on Netflix. Oh, that's not gory? That's not gory. Oh. No, it's not gore. Okay, what's that about? Um, so that this is a about Indian custom, India's custom service. Oh, the custom agents. Custom agents, yes. Yeah. And the show is called Tuskadi. Okay. The smuggler's web. So um It was actually really interesting. And when it's a web, it's actually fun because it says web because there's so much twists and turns in it. Apparently, when it released, it got mixed reviews. It released on January 14th. But I watched it. I just I forgot about it, so I put it on. It's only seven episodes. Okay. And not all the episodes are hour long. Some of them are like 30 minutes, some of them are 40 minutes. Oh nice. Which I like that about it. So then, like, you can like stop and and watch it. And there are um, there's a lot of twists and turns, a lot of things are happening. I thought it was a good movie, and it could start a good good show. The reason I thought it was really good was because, again, of the twist, the story behind it. And then not even though it's our Aran Heshmi is like the big star in it, there are other little stars, and they were also like well highlighted. It wasn't like he had like so much air time. Yeah. I think other people had air enough air time too. I that's what I liked about it.
SPEAKER_05So there was a thing, um, I think it was like number one global, one of the, or it was in the global top 10 or something. I don't know. There was like there was like a whole like um because Amran Hashmi even like made a post saying, you know, thanks for making tuscudi, however you say it.
SPEAKER_06On Netflix, Global 10.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yes, it was.
SPEAKER_05That's really good. Like, I mean, that's pretty cool.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. It it was actually really cool. And uh IMDB gave it 7.1.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Uh, which is pretty, I mean, uh, it's just the Google users don't have any review on it, but IMD gave 7.1. And I I thought he would do a good job. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I liked him. I was gonna watch it over um when I was on the plane, but then I started watching Task, that the Hulk one. Not Hulk. It's not the whatever Mark Raffolo, who played the Hulk at one point in time. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06So it was good. So I would say if you it's a fun watch. It's not it's not like crazy or like, you know, like, oh my god, who's the killer or things like that? But it's still like fun, a fun watch to watch. So I feel like it's not too happy. It's not yeah, it's not like happy, happy, or sad, but it's just like a fun. It's a thriller. It's a thriller. It's just a fun watch. Yeah, very nice.
SPEAKER_05Okay, Monique, so everybody's talking about something right now. What are they talking about? One of the seasons, one of the series. Yes. It's called Korra. Because season two just came out. Oh, yes, I did say that. I have to watch season one to watch season two. You kind of do just to get at the end. I want to watch it because yeah. Buildup of the characters and stuff. So I watched season one when it first came out, um, it was a few years ago, and I didn't really hear much about it. I don't think anybody really heard much about it.
SPEAKER_06No, I don't think I I think I just heard about it now.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but I was really into like watching like this series. Yes. And it was like, you know, and I I didn't know what this was about. I had no idea. I started it, and like remember I was telling you that like hush hush did not grab me in the first episode. This Korra, season one, first episode, grabbed me. Okay. Um and like quick synopsis about it is uh there's a bridegroom, he's found dead in the fields two days before his wedding, and the police are trying to find the murderer. Basically, that's the premise of that season. Okay, and it's this just the ins and outs of how the cops try to like find the people, they put piece the clues together. And then at the same time, you kind of get a little bit of who these cops are. Okay, right? So it's like really nice. I like I like how they like I like those type of shows where they're like it's they build the character along with building the story. Yes, yes. So it's really, really good. Yeah. Um, so season one was great. I highly recommend it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, season one on um got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is like really hard to get.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and it's one of those undercover ones because like I said, like not many people like watched it when it first came out, but I think they're starting to watch it.
SPEAKER_06I because I'm gonna go back and watch it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, they're gonna go back and watch it now because season two just came out. Yes. And season two And you've already watched season two. I watched season two. Yeah, like this the weekend it came out, I watched it. So the premise of that one is um there's a woman found dead in the in her brother's barn, and the police are trying to find the murderer. Because it's so this woman is the sister of like this. I don't wanna I I guess he was like kind of like um just just a rich person in the village, right? Basically, but it was like it's very like villagey ish based. And she left her husband, her husband lived in the UK, and she left her husband back home and she's found dead. Oh wow. So then there's it's like, okay, who killed her, right? Like that's that's the whole premise, and it's like goes from it, could be this person, it could be this person, but like piecing out yeah, is it the husband? Did he have a hitoff? What happened? Yeah, and at the same time, again, they're building the story to the the police, the cops, the inspectors, the different inspectors. So it's really, really well made, and your guy is in it. Yes, Baruan Swapti. You love him. Yes. I did not know that he was in this other serial that you and Nirati talk about. Yes, but he is fantastic in this.
SPEAKER_06He yep, and I feel like it's a very different role that he's playing in. Oh, absolutely. He's been doing he's so he left that show. The one me and Nirati always talked about is Brahma Gyanam do I'm dropped out. So great. It's a it's uh one of those. Apparently he's really famous in Turkey. Yes, from that movie, from that show. From that show. From that show, he is so famous. People still talk about those two couples. That couple, people still like they called them the Kajal and Sharuk of of TV of cereals, yeah, Indian TV. Okay, because they had this great chemistry and the storyline was so good. It was a toxic male story, falling in love, enemies to lovers type of story. Okay, but it was just so well, it was just the way they're they uh interacted with each other was so good that people fell in love with. What's it called again? Ispiadamdu. Okay. Um, and then Turkey, people in Turkey loved because there's so many enemies to lovers show. This is again my Arafta is very similar. Very similar to the Enemies to Falling Lovers, and they're like, get married and like all of this different things. So that made him like that show made him, I feel like, highlighted him. And then he left that show to do other things. And I think he did like small projects here and there and here and there. So this blew him up again. Not only Burun Sopni, but Mona Singh. I oh yes, so Mona Singh from Bads of Hollywood. Bads of Bollywood, but also she's also from the Indian serials too, and she's done so many great shows.
SPEAKER_05Really, so I'm very happy that she's also and they they work well together, like in the in the in the show, and there's a really I don't know if if people are gonna watch Korra, there is a small little, very minute little cameo. I don't want to tell you guys, but I'll tell you whispnee, I'll whisper it to you. But there's one small cameo that you might notice. It's another um I guess serial actor. Yeah, serial actor. He's from Patha Lok. Oh. So see if you can pick it out. But it's literally for like five minutes, you look and you're like, was that him? Like I had to rewind it. I was like, was that really him? Like, because it's like a side, yeah, literally, it's like a railroad um it's uh scene. Just for literally, like he's like the railroad inspector guy or whatever, like the station manager, basically. So it's like literally like he's there for like not even five minutes, like two minutes. And then you're like, wait, was that was that really him or is it just a like a lookalike? Yeah. So it but again, this show, I highly recommend it. It's thriller. It is a little bit gory here and there, but it's a thriller, and it's how they find the murderer, and every it's just people are loving it. I'm like, Reddit is saying something really. It's great about it. Both both seasons are really, really good. I don't know if there's gonna be a third season, but I but you're loving it. You're giving you people I like it because I like the characters. Okay. Like the care character build-up film is really interesting, very different.
SPEAKER_06You do all of these great like thriller shows and things like that. I don't really spend that much time on it. Um, I watched this show, it came out, I think it was like a couple of months ago. A single papa. Oh, this is with um Himu.
SPEAKER_05One of the Khan daughters husbands.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Kunal Kimu. Yeah, so how Ali Khan's husband, yeah, uh Kunal Kemu. Um, he's in it. And it's really, it's a really cute story. It's very wholesome. Okay. It could, you can have, you can watch it with family. It's super cute. Very boring. Okay. Uh Projekta Koli's in it too. She's a sister, Projekta. She's from um mismatched. Oh, I've heard her name before. Yeah, and she's in another uh movie, uh Jugjug Jio. Okay. And she's good in it too. The story's really cute. Um, there's a really cute baby in it. It's about this um this young man. You know who's playing a young man. Um, how he wants a baby. Like he just wants kids. He wants really uh he wants kids. Um was he married? Is he married? He was he was married and he wanted a kid with his wife, yeah, but the wife didn't want a kid, and so then you know he really wants up? Yeah, they broke up, they got divorced because she felt like he was acting like a child. He's like a man-child, like he's a man-child in the beginning of it, okay, and then she wanted a divorce, and then they get divorced. He was really sad when they got divorced because he really loved her. Okay. Um, but she was just like tired of his stuff. Like, I'm tired of like raising a kid. Like, I don't want to do that, I want to partner. Okay. So that's why, you know, and then it happens. Um, and then he somehow ends up finding this child and then like wants to adopt him. And like, and then just how do you what? You have to see the story. I don't want to give the story. The story, like, like he somehow finds this kid and then and he wants to adopt the single body. So he becomes a single body. Like, he adopts, he goes, he goes through the process and he ends up adopting it, and then they like they're very against him adopting the baby because he's a single dad, as opposed to like a family, a family, and like you want you want a family to you want a child to grow up in a good family and things like that, and like a joint family, whatever development reason, whatever their reasoning behind that is. So um, it got nine 98% and Google users, people loved it. Um, it did IMDB gave it eight out of ten. Again, it's a wholesome fun thing. It seems like a background watch for it's a great background watch, honestly. It's not like you're sitting there. It's there's some emotional parts. I can't. Like you don't have to, you you pay attention, but you don't have to pay attention. You don't, you can put it in the background, but and um there's some emotional part with and the baby's so cute. Oh the baby's really cute, so it's like so. There's some emotional things in it that does that make me sad a little bit here and there, but it was still a great, and they're doing a season two on it, so we'll see what happens there.
SPEAKER_02Okay, good.
SPEAKER_05Um, okay, so the last series that I really like and I recommend everybody watching. Again, it's like a long my type of show versus your type of show. Yes, like of course. It's like murder, mystery, thriller, crime.
SPEAKER_06There are type of shows I want to watch, but sometimes I'm not in the mood, so I won't even put it on. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05You know, like that. Same here. So for me, for your series, I'm like, I have to be in the mood to watch it.
SPEAKER_06Like I want something that's wholesome and fun and like we'll move fast, and I'll have to pay so much attention to it.
SPEAKER_05These move fast too, but you have to pay attention. Yeah, right. That's a difference. I think, yeah. So this is um, it's called pathalok. Oh, yes, you just brought it up. Yes. I brought it up because there was a cameo of somebody in the other show that I watched, Cora. So this is um, it's a story about like so pathalok means um like the underworld. Oh, okay. Like hell, basically. Okay. That's kind of what it means. Like pathalok is like the bad, bad world. Like they've devlok, devlok is where the devas live. So heaven and hell? Pretty much. Okay. Pretty much. Like you could like loosely translate it. I did not know that. It's the first time I'm ever hearing that. Loosely translate it to that. Okay. Um, so there are two seasons to this show. Okay. And it revolves around um this inspector called Hati Ram Chowdhury, who is the main actor, Jade Jade Balwat. Really, really good. He's a very cynical officer, but he gets assigned to like these high profile cases. Okay. And he gets caught up in the in investigation where he gets dragged into the pataloka. Into the into the nether world, the underworld, right? Um, and it's it's just like I don't even know how to say about it.
SPEAKER_06The twists and turns.
SPEAKER_05There's twists and turns. You're like, wait, I thought it was this, but then no my god, no, it's that, you know, like it is so good. I don't even want to say too much about it because you just have to watch it. Yeah. And I'm telling you, it's like one of those things that's just gonna be something that just grabs you and you're not gonna want to stop watching it. It's produced by Anushka Sharma. Oh, yeah. So she has good, good taste. She's good taste in picking your her uh her series. It sounds really gory.
SPEAKER_06Again, I saw it, I want to watch it, I just did not invest my time into it.
SPEAKER_05You should, you should. But it's a pay attention type of thing. Okay, that's why. It is a little gory, and the other guy that's in the first season was um Abhishek Banerjee. He's so he is so so good. He's so creepy in this, but it's so good.
SPEAKER_06I feel like he he's good for those creepy worlds. I'm so sorry to say that, but he's he is he has the look for the creepy rolls.
SPEAKER_05Well, he was in that other um movie that I saw. Remember Stolen? Yeah. That one he was at first, he was like um he was like this rich guy or whatever, right? Like he was this rich guy and he rich, um egotistical, like oh, elite, like elitism type of person. Then it turned into something else. But it's again, I think he's good for so many different roles because of his acting.
SPEAKER_06I think he's also in um street. He also plays in street, yeah. So he plays those type of roles. He can do comedy, he can do like discrepancy. And he did something, he did something else recently, too. I forgot that movie's name, but he also got like accolades for that. He's a good actor.
SPEAKER_05And the they these two work really, really well. They do. Okay, and there's some good actors in it. I mean, Golpanang is in this. She was she used to be she was a Miss America or Miss America, Miss India. She was a Miss India at some point. No idea who she is. She's really, really pretty. Okay. She has these really cute dimples. Um, okay, so Pathao Lok, yes, uh again, just highly recommend it. Everybody, I mean, people that are into this type of genre, film or series, films, whatever, you're gonna really like it. Um so yeah, recommendation. Cool, 100%. Nice, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Alright, so you watched so many of them. I did. Yeah. So many series. I only had a couple. Um but uh let's let's play a little rapid fire game with you. Let's do. Alright, so best plots. Of the shows that I just named yet? Best plots with in life? No, in the ones you just named.
SPEAKER_05Uh Patalok. Okay. Uh worst ending. Uh I think it might be the Shpan Day. I haven't gotten there yet, though. Most overrated. Oh.
unknownAh.
SPEAKER_05You know, you can trash because I haven't seen it. I haven't finished it, but it got good ratings.
SPEAKER_06Okay, which is not the best villain?
SPEAKER_05Oh, Patalok. Pathalok. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_06Okay, best most underrated, do you think?
SPEAKER_05Most underrated. I think Korra season one. Okay. But I think it's making a comeback because everything's going to be a good one.
SPEAKER_06I'm gonna agree with you because I just read about it and it did say people why people have not talked about Korra season one. No. Why people haven't, because it's just so good. But it's so good. Yeah. Best female lead.
SPEAKER_05This is gonna be tough. Ooh. Oh. I think Mona Singh for Korra too.
SPEAKER_06She has to be.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. You don't think Juigiala from Hutchach? No, because I'm I'm well the other good female lead would have been Boomy from Dal Dal, but I think Mona Singh. Mona Singh. Actually, they're both good. They're both they're both very, very good, but Mona Singh has a little bit of an edge. Show which one you binged in one weekend. Korra season two. Good, good.
SPEAKER_06And pathalok. I think both both of Pathalok's. If you could give people one show to watch like this week, what would what show would it be? Like out of all.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna give you two. I'm gonna give you Korra season two and pathalok, okay? You can do it. No, one. One. People like no one has time for two.
SPEAKER_06They can do it. Okay. Guys, you guys heard it. You guys heard it. You heard it here first. You heard it here first. Yeah, she watches so many. From my end, I would just tell you to watch Tuskitty for fun.
SPEAKER_05Okay, Money, it is blindy windy time.
SPEAKER_06Yes, tell me, ma'am.
SPEAKER_05Okay. This billionaire heiress was dating the son of an action star from the 90s for close to a decade, but for reasons unknown, they broke up some time back. As per a source, there have been rumors of her hooking up with Bollywood's current numero uno superstar. She hooked up with the married superstar and bragged about it to her friends, and even the superstar's wife came to know about it. This married superstar is rumored to be in an open marriage. His wife is okay with his philandering. She doesn't think physical infidelity is cheating. Can you guess? Is it Govinda, Nila, Mansunita? Ew, that is ew gross. That's old people drama. I know.
SPEAKER_06Oh, I forgot the billionaire part, sorry.
SPEAKER_05The son of an action son.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that's what I meant. Okay. So billionaire. Huh? I said they have a guy.
SPEAKER_05Let's start from the beginning. Billionairess. Who do you think it's gonna be? Billionaire. I don't know who this person is. You won't know. Okay. Son of the action of the 90s action star.
SPEAKER_06Son. Son of the 90s action star. Sunny Shetty's son.
SPEAKER_05Yes, correct. Ahhan Shetty. Ahan Shetty. He was uh dating this chick named Tanya Shruff, who's a Tanya Shruff. So they broke up because he found out that she was apparently doing some hanky panky with Renbir Kapoor.
SPEAKER_06Whoa. But we know about Renbir Kapoor and his phandering way.
SPEAKER_05Was she okay with the open marriage? Because it's saying that she's okay with it.
SPEAKER_06Aglia?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's the really- I mean the blind is saying that.
SPEAKER_06I mean, If your husband is linked to so many different women, if you keep hearing it, maybe you are open to it. That's what the people are gonna say, right?
SPEAKER_05Like Because I feel like I feel like I've heard that Deepika has been okay with it, right? I've with Renvier. I thought it was Renvier.
SPEAKER_06Literally, I've heard that everyone in Bollywood is open to open marriages, and I do not understand this lifestyle. Like you just every time you hear something new, like I talk about Sunita and going down, you're like, ew, old people, but that's been happening since then. Yeah, that's it. Like there's so much of it, and we talked about the affairs situation when we talked about all the different affairs that were happening in Bollywood and stuff like that. Like it openly Aksha Kumar's story that we always hear about him, Ajadevkin that we hear, like we constantly hear about it. But now with the newer kids, we're seeing this. Like we're newer kids, like it's like constantly there. I guess we just hear about it more now. Yeah because it's like open to us. So I mean, people are gonna say you're open to it. If you constantly hear your husband is hooking up with women, yeah, then you must be open to it. I don't know what else to say to it.
SPEAKER_05I don't know. I I honestly thought this would have been Renvier at first when I read it, but a lot of people are saying Renvier.
SPEAKER_06Renvier and then remember I talked to you talked to you about how like his mom, Nehu, brought up um there was an interview of Nitu uh talking about Rishi Kapoor's infidel infidelity. Oh, yeah and how remember we talked about this and how she was just like so what? He goes go but he comes back and then just comes back to me or something. Just come back to me. I'd have a problem if he was like it was the same person he was going over and over to. That's when I have a problem. But he's going to different people, it doesn't matter. Like, okay, so if you're she was obviously open about it, so then maybe I think she had to be open about it. I recently I saw something about Nitu Kapoor who was really sad that her parents put her into acting really, really young. Yeah, yeah. They exploited her as like a kid. So I God knows what that woman went through, honestly. I mean, most of these Bali, like these the older Bollywood actresses, Shri Devi, I think, also went in really young too. She was like like three or two or three. A lot of these kids were like forced into these things to do because their parents were like using them for like money and stuff like that. They had they became like sole providers for the house. So child labor. Child labor, yeah. All right, that's a very interesting. Sorry, my I was not paying attention because I came up with random names. I was like, Govinda. Well, that again, it's like his wife talks about him overly open with Neilam, and apparently he really was in love with Neilam. Neilam and Ronnie Mukherjee, remember? Ronnie Mukherjee was weird, dude. That one was so strange. So strange. That was such a strange one. But Neilam, I knew like you you heard about. Yeah. So strange. Okay, Money is vow time. So what did the polls pick? Well, the polls this week were talking about the song Mazap Yarkar Neme. Okay. And it is featuring King. Oh, he's back. Yeah, he does a he no, he does a lot of songs. He said I feel like the only one I know is the one with Nick Jonas. No, I there was one after. There's a bunch of after, and I now this is the third one I'm hearing about. Yeah, there's a bunch of.
